That's why President Mahama sent the money to them in a plane. Also Adam Kwarasey said they replaced him with Fatau Dauda because he supported the protest. Adam Kwarasey refused to play for the Black Stars again after that incident. Both Asamoah Gyan and Dede Ayew initially supported the protest but they backed down in the last minute leaving KP Boateng, Muntari, Essien and Kwarasey as the victims.
