How can anyone leave their sick aged mom this way. God forbid I treat my mom this way no matter what transpired in the past . You don’t have to be in talking terms if you feel hurt but the least you can do is take care of her especially when you are in a position of power/ influence

I think sometimes we don't understand what is going on. If someone don't take care of his or her parents we should not blame the person because we don't know what they did to that child. Me for instance I will always take good care of my mother but cannot do that for my father. Someone parents abandoned their children from childhood.
