You can use that to your Advantage tho: for instance: you can extend your jump by quite a bit in lenght and hight by targeting an enemy and "pulling" yourself towards them. Or: If you fall down somewhere you can use it to prevent fall damage by striking an enemy below yourself

i’m pretty sure no one really speed runs the whole thing, nor without going out of bounds

At that point rules are just completely arbitrary.

The1AndOnlyChad Chad the rules are that you’re allowed to go out of bounds and skip encounters, anything that gets you from the start to the end the quickest, as long as it isn’t against bungie rules i.e net limiting/ hacking

It's called hotswaps. You can do it with any weapon. If you hold down your aim key, sprint holding w, switch to your other weapon (all while holding down M2 or aim key) then let go of w (very quickly) you can switch weapons much faster.

That’s completely wrong, because people train for hours/days/weeks/months Speed practice to get as example a Duo Shattered Throne WR. And then some noobs say ”You need 5min for shattered throne. Where is this important? It took you 5 minutes, that’s like nothing you invest of time. People who need longer, are better, because they need to survive longer. And Speedrunners are all cheater, because they use skips and can’t do it normally the encounter without speed.“
