Shaun and Lea are parents! They were both so in awe of their son. Lea so happy the Peanut is finally here, and "Look at what we made," and Shaun saying "He is beautiful" and then "It's very nice to meet you. I'm Dr. Shaun Murphy. I'm your dad." And they named him Steven Aaron Murphy, for Shaun's beloved brother Steve and for Dr. Glassman. I LOVE IT!
It's a full circle moment for Shaun. This season was about Shaun learning to accept that people can and will leave his life. But, it also means that he needs to continue moving forward for the people still in his life and those entering it. With Steven Aaron Murphy's birth, I hope this can also be the first step to Shaun finally forgiving himself for losing his brother Steve and hopefully, Shaun can learn as a parent why Glassman felt hurt by Shaun trying to remove him from surgery. Shaun did not handle the situation but Glassy is just as guilty. But, with little Steven, I'm pretty sure they'll make up soon enough. Sending the blanket was a good first step towards healing
0:27 The emotional look on Shaun's face after seeing his child is so satisfying considering all he went through losing his daughter. He finally gets to be a dad, it's nice.
That look on Shaun eyes when he heard his son crying for the first time was incredibly beautiful, that little wave and introducing himself as his dad melt my heart💙🦋
I know Shaun will be a better dad than his father ever was just and his his brother would be proud and honored that he named his son after him and how far he’s grown and what he’s accomplished
Crying my eyes out. Love this series can't wait for next one. I worked with Autistic adults for more than 25yr and Dr Shaun Murphy you portrayed this part extremely well congratulations. Love from central Scotland x
Omg, such amazing, beautiful and emotional scene, Shaun finally becomes a father, after first tragedy with their daughter when they lost her, they finally have a baby and I can't wait to see this new chapter of Shaun's and Lea's life as a parents ❤❤ seriously this made me so emotional, they both grew up so much, and now they are finally really happy, Now I am waiting for the new season ❤
Shaun's whole world shifted in that moment, in the best possible way. In that moment, his heart is now existing outside of his body, and it is securely, forever in the hands of his newborn son.
Whenever they come back from the strike, which based on the numbers I saw ($429 million vs. $86 million), that might not be until possibly August at the earliest.
@@gatorgiffei I saw on Deadline that a worried studio insider thinks this might be between 1988 (153 days) and 2008 (100 days). If that is accurate, I wouldn't expect TGD and TGL to show up until November or December at the earliest, unless they were able to get scripts written before the strike.
For someone severe as Shaun, the fact he touched his son's face immediately is what got me. He didn't go for air touches or holding his hand, he went straight for close direct contact. Thought that was so sweet.
I just looked this up after seeing a clip of them losing their first child. I just wanted to know he was able to be a dad. He seems like such a sweetheart
Oh gosh this actor already looks like my husband a bit, my husbands autistic and we have 2 (3 to be born anyway now) and I’m crying. This was so him when our son was born, so so so much him
@@joerogers540 also, Aaron was the one who convinced the hospital to hire him, he's the one who they go to when Shaun causes a problem, (and there were a LOT). I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't try to help Shaun when his job is in jeopardy again and let's him get fired. That's what I'd do.
