Mike Bosch is one of my favourite people to go skating with. In this video we head to our stomping grounds - The Glenmore Reservoir. We love this skate for the amazing terrain and equally amazing scenery. You feel as if you have left the city and you are skating through nature. Feel the flow.

I love roller skating the longest I've learned at 8 years and today I'm 14 with my dream and wake up and go roller skating the whole day feel the wind, see the day dawn and see the afternoon. When I ride skates I feel free and this is very good.

can i tell you one thing? when i was like 4 years old i would love to have a pair of those skates. Now I'm almost 22 and bought for me a new basic pair of inline skates, just for you guys. Saw those videos and remember my childhood wishes, then went for it. I'm learning slowly but, every video gives me the spirit to be better! You guys skate like gods!

I would love to see a video of mike and Shawn mohawk transitions tutorial, just like the 360 video. It could be so useful to know how you guys manage the weight distribution before and after the transition, the upper body rotation, the time etc! Hope you like the idea!

Calgary seems like a pretty dope place to live for a number of reasons, not the least of which is if you're into getting outdoors & tearing it up. It's definitely on my list of potential places to settle in our sexy little country. Some really smooth skating there boys, by the way!

Canada looks like such a great place live and have an active life! And those roads combined with the amazing sight are absolutely astonishing. As a person living in a bumpy city , full of ups and downs and poor ground to skate on, what you show on videos feels like an utopia! Please keep sharing these videos, skating is fun and you all are very eficient on showing it on camera.

1:06 Downhill banks are a good time. 2:32, 5:03 Nice carving! You would love the steep narrow alleys of Lausanne; metro lift to the top! 6:20 I'd go with a gable grip rear naked choke. Fun video.

What an absolutely beautiful place to skate. I could do that for hours! Where I'm at, alot of the trails are unpaved. I need to cross the sound next spring/summer and find some places surrounding Seattle like this.

Skated twice today. I’m too focused on a perfect stride. I just want to have to run like this guys. I did my first grass slide to concrete drop off halfway across a median. I fell back on my butt and laid flat. Didn’t wear my tortoise pads but the demon wrist guards did well. Did it in front of a hottie. Then landed it 3 times.

I’m listening to you talk about a mountain lion on this video that’s a few years old and it made me think of the more recent video of that guy who is walking backwards down a trail with his GoPro trying to shoo away a freakin mountain lion that’s stalking him and posturing up like he’s down to clown on dude jugular. Never does, but it’s still soooooo freaky. Have you seen that one yet? It is a must-see kind of video.

+Zoltan it takes a couple years. Most people start to really feel the flow after two years of skating.

Hey Shaun how do you skate backwards at that speed? Wow, I'd like to see a mini tutorial on this cuz when i do it i cant go that fast, I'm scared if I fall I could erease my memory for a long time.

It is scary at first but more you practise the easier it gets. Some people, such as my friend Sheldon, can bomb hills backwards. The trick is to develop your technique so you can fully look behind your body as you go backwards. I can definitely do a tutorial on this.

Not sure if you can get brewdog up there. They are imported from Scotland. They just moved a brewery into my town in columbus. I highly recommend Elvis juice its a expertly crafted citrus ipa.. Simply Delicious. Thats my go to after a nice session. Usually on the way home from wherever I am downtown.

Dang! Elvis Juice sounds amazing. I will have to do some hunting. I realized after I posted this that most of the best beers now a days are all local brews which is awesome but makes it rather difficult find in non local locations. (if that makes any sense)

Shop Task it does for sure.. There are a ton of great brewerys out in the Pacific northwest. I spent some time out in Washington state. No names are coming to mind of course however if I remember them I certainly will share.

Really nice flow skate Shaun! Also, how are the G-form knee pads? I scratch my left pad a lot when practicing parallel slide, do you recommend them? Namaste!

I highly recommend G-Form knee pads. They offer nearly the same protection as a high end plastic shelled knee pad such as Scabs but the G-Form is fluid and does not interfere with movement.

I know what you mean about the dogs...or mountain lions. There are a lot of wild dogs here in Ukraine...even in Kyiv, where I have been skating most recently. During the early morning hours, they tend to be a bit grouchy as I skate past them. I'm a dog person...but these moments are a bit unsettling! :)

Hello Montel I regrettably had to shut down the shop because I was unable to make a consistent profit. After I had kids I couldn’t justify the time commitment to a business that wasn’t making money. Sad. We have set up a small selection of products at Nerd Rollerskate shop.

If you do run to a mountain lion and it attacks don’t panic they are pretty simple to beat. Wrap your legs and arms around it and squeeze DO NOT try to push it away or out run it you will not be successful. Mountain lions hate constriction they fear snakes like most mammals. If your wrap him up and squeeze it will immediately abandon the attack and attempt to flee and will not attack a second time. This also applies wolves and and angry dogs.
