A spiritual successor to Gromit Unleashed, Shaun on the Tyne is a public art trail that saw 115 statues placed across Newcastle, raising funds for charity. Unfortunately, that hasn't stopped the sculptures from being vandalised...

wow great video! i wonder why people feel the need to vandalize public art, especially when it’s for charity. it’s kinda sad. loved the video, i hope you had a fun time!💕

These are brilliant and so are the gromits Wallaces previous shauns and feathers the good thing is they are still recognisable as shaun did u see the wool knitted things close to the Wendsleydale cheese factory brilliant absolutely loving more Wallace and gromit content

I went to do the trail at the start of August, my favourite one by far was the wrong trousers shaun. It was a shame they had been vandaled, especially as its for charity. It only takes a few stupid people to ruin it for the rest of us. On the bright side i managed to pick up a gromit mug and feathers mcgraw plush (as a birthday treat!) in the civic centre, that you shown. Great video once again!

Trashy scumbags vandalising them. I love this video. I saw they had Morph statues around London over summer. I wanted to do that trail but I was busy at the time and then it went away before I had a chance
