The shave stick has to be made to be used as a shave stick. No pucks allowed.

#1. The English word for the "hippie collective" is: commune. #2. Believe it or not, I have a Speik shave stick. It was one of the first Amazon(Small Flower Pharmacy) shave accessory purchases that I made, after discovering the hobby. I like the scent. I find it middle of the road. Now, I am gonna find herbal tea to complete tonight's adventure 😅.

Nicely shaved. Many years ago and in a different profession, I lived for a period in Munich. I never tried Speik then, but just recently received it in a PIF package. The scent for me has a medicinal, health spa quality to it. Personally, I like the it. Another stick chapter in the books.

Speick is my favorite stick soap for scent and lather qualities. That's typical shaving because everyone is different and that is OK. I have Tabac and Speick hard soaps and I prefer Speick for post shave also!

Very good Sig! Yeah it's not a scent that everyone would enjoy and I don't really detect the lavender at all. I don't mind the scent, but there's something in it that my skin is on the verge of having a reaction to. I definitely feel something going on , but as soon as it's shaved off I'm good. Well, I haven't got any updates on the package yet, but I would think it should be soon. I think this is how it went last time with a week stuck in the US and then a week on the way to you. @SIG SOLO #WAD The word you were looking for is commune. Which I guess is technically a collective but it's voluntary. I've heard similar "herbal tea" tales of woe from friend who grew up on communes. There's Coke and Grape Soda at grandma's house! I have some cousins who grew up Mormon, which is remarkably similar. The Speick looks like some kind of glycerin soap base. They tend to be very slick and moisturizing. The glycerin is a humectant which holds on to moisture which is probably causing the stickiness you're feeling.

Thanks, Buddy! COMMUNE!! There it was!! D'OH! Thanks!! 🙃 Maybe the scent will grow on me. The Proraso Blue didn't hit my preferences at first, but over time I learned to like and appreciate it. The Commune was great for an energetic toddler like me with busy parents always. Even though food was ... eehh... experimental and never something familiar the house always had an adult or two really to play hide-and-go-seek in the mansion like house or play outside in the wild garden... Lots of other kids, too. Half of the soap sticks I've used thus far have been glycerin based. This was extra sticky, imho. Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend! 🤙 #WAD

Thanks, Buddy! I didn't pick up the Lavender at all. The Herbal Tea vibe was taking at the attention. Stirling makes a great Bergamot and Lavender soap and MSC makes a mentholated Frosted Lavender, too. To me the Stirling has the most soothing lavender scent of the two. Stirling also have a Bergamot and Lavender witch hazel that has a really pleasant and calming effect on me. Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend! 🤙 #WAD

Nothing worse than a scent you don’t like for a soap or cream…you could always do what I do with the ones I don’t like and just use them for a hand soap at the sink so they don’t get thrown out and wasted haha!! Have not tried that stick soap but I think I used Speick cream a long time ago, that scent does not sound too good I think I would prefer the Arko scent. Maybe do a vintage razor like a Tech which are quite easy to get and perhaps a Boar brush because the are cost effective natural hair option readily available ... just some thoughts. Thanks, Mate! Maybe I'll grow into the scent along the way. Good thing I have otjer soaps. 🙃 The Tech has been used already in April, so I might not go there again in this series, but thanks for the suggestion; also the boar have a reputation for eating and affecting the lather, so that might change the result and the score.
