♥ In today's video... well... I shave my head hahah. I have wanted to do this for years and years, and yesterday I decided to do it if my fundraiser reached $1,000. Obviously, it didn't take many hours for it to reach that amount and I'm a lady of my word. I'm so happy I did it. I hope you liked this video! I will be back with a regular vlog tomorrow.

So cool to see a girl shave her head and not get so sad and emotional in a bad way. Some people feel that their hair is a part of their identity, and I get that. But in the same way that breast implants don’t make you any more of a woman, having long locks doesn’t have to define you. Let it go. Be free. And the fact that you’re donating it is just...bravo.

I agree. But the thing is in my case, I've invested time and money to maintain my hair healthy and luscious. Also, I feel like my hair flatters me and I don't think I'd be pretty enough to rock a look without my hair. I completely agree with your comment though, but it isn't always about losing that sense of feminity that makes women so attached to their hair.

I just shaved my head to donate all of my hair today, and I cried. It was a huge shock after growing it out for so long, as well as it having been a huge part of my identity. But now that the shock has worn off I'm super happy! Still nervous about going out of the house tomorrow though. I hope that whoever gets my hair enjoys it 😊

I've lost my mom fews months ago after her five years battle against cancer, and what you've just done, giving youre hair is so important and beautiful. Wearing wigs, scarfs, make up, ... or any other way, feeling pretty, feminin, confident is sush an important aspect of this fight. THANK YOU

I'm sorry 😥 We've lost my boyfriend's mom a few months ago because of cancer.. 😔 Now I've donated 30 cm of my hair to an organisation which makes wigs for the people who have cancer ♡

You are amazing. Society wants women to have long hair, tattoo free skin and lots of babies. You are unapologetically living your own life and truth, out loud and very publicly. @@schwester6523 not just Muslim countries, this happens in countries everywhere, its not just tattoos it can be very simplistic things that dont seem like a big deal but people get violent over them, wearing "revealing" clothes, being lgbtq or even looking like a part of the lgbtq (hair length, voice, intelligent sterotypes), saying you don't want children, pursuing a scientific related career, saying no, ignoring men etc many people feel forced to be a certain way because of the toxicity and gender stereotypes. You should be able to want to have kids and be a housewife without it being said you dont support womens rights and you should be able to do the opposite. (It does sound kind of judgy when you say tattoos ruin someone just saying lmao)

Im sure you wont see this but...this was so powerful that made me cry...i was so optimistic. I cannot decide why. You made me feel hope, empowerment. This is the happiest I’ve seen you in your videos. You look incredible! And to top it all off its for an amazing cause! I had cancer when I was 10 and I lost my hair due to chemo. Seeing this makes me remember how god awful I felt about my hair and now I really really want to shave it and overcome the fear! You’re amazing!

A friend of mine died from cancer and she always said that she absolutely hated the idea of someone shaving their hair because of her. Losing her hair was incredibly hard on her and she did not want anyone else to lose their hair because of her too. Until I met her, I always thought it was a noble thing to shave ones own hair off in solidarity of someone who has cancer, but now I see it in a completely different light.

I had to shave my head in January due to Alopecia. After the initial shock of it all, I found I loved it. It's my firm belief that every woman should shave their head at least once. Even just as a reminder of your worth. It does not lie in your hair, but your heart.

@@raspberrychocolate don't worry sweethearts I also had to cut my hair five years ago when my alopecia was kicking it strong (I didn't shave it, just got a super short pixie cut) , and although my hair is starting to fall a lot now again, I got to grow it all back again. Now my goal is to grow it as long as I can, have a little fun with semi permanent dyes and then just cut the hell out of it to donate it to people who had alopecia like me or lost hair due to other reasons. Why don't you join me?

@@gabajamrozinska3347 they accept in my country as long as it is semi permanent as I had already said and vegan ;) the hospital to which I go and that "accepts" the hair has this whole section of vegan dyes for patients that they also sell to you if you want so children can play around with the few little hair they have left without damage. It comes out super fast it's basically just hair makeup

I want to thank you on behalf of everybody for donating your hair. I am a breast cancer survivor and some women really need that wig that's being made from your hair. I have to say I myself did not wear a wig because I felt like they were hot and itchy but a lot of women really love them and they can really rock them. when my hair start falling out my husband and I went into the bathroom and we shaved it off and let me tell you it was so freeing liberating like I took my power back. When you have cancer you have no control over any kind of s*** that's going on but she even your head that you have control of and it feels amazing to have that kind of power back. Thank you so much for donating. You are an absolute hero!

WOW this video was very empowering! Amazing for you to raise money to help animals as well as sticking to your word, wouldn't expect anything else from you based on being a fan of yours for a long time now but honestly its a great message to send out into the world without you even realizing you did it. Thanks for sharing the process and I honestly love it, If you choose to grow it out again it would be cool to see a time progression montage regarding the different looks and styles you do over the next 1/2 years! Lol ive gone almost this short before for donation reasons and to support my mother through her hair loss journey for cancer, but couldn't go as short as you as my head is VERY lumpy and oddly shaped, yours is STUNNING!

When I watched "shaving" video from British youtuber Beckie J. Brown it made my cry like crazy... but that's because she suffers from Trichotillomania and had no other choice than shaving her hair... This time, OMG I enjoyed it so much!! Amazing... 2 completely different stories and 2 different experiences I know, but still similar topic... Aww! Honestly watching this makes me feel more confident about me shaving my head! This year im participating in the worlds greatest shave to support those with lukemia cancer, and i’m shaving about 30 inches of hair (yes, my hair is super long) and i’m super nervous about it 😖! I’ve been watching so many people shave their heads and i hope i dont think i’ll look very well being bald, especially when im used to my super long hair, but you guys all are so inspiring and give me so much more confidence!

One thing I've noticed is how completely different you generally look from your older videos. Obviously you're a teenager in those and in your 20's now, so you've physically aged. That's not what I'm talking about when I say you look different. It's all in your eyes. When you did the first cut, and how your face and eyes lit up, you looked exactly like you did 6 years ago. Your mental health needed this more than you realize. Slay girl. You look stunning!

From watching a lot of people shaving their head, yours is way way way more enjoyment than the other ones. Youre just so cute and your reaction of loving it makes me so happy to see(ive watched several videos from you so im not a stranger, also hej från sverige!). I can't even begin to explain how amazing it is to have people like you that donate hair, this year I was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer and lost my hair due to the chemotherapy, but was lucky enough to be offered a wig made from donated hair through a charity. it made such a massive difference to my self confidence and I've been so grateful. also u look amazing!! x

Rod Wood I shaved my head because of my dry scalp. It completely changed afterwards since I was better able to care for it without the extra hair to deal with. Now I’m finally able to grow my hair back knowing I understand my skin up there. 😊 Also super adorable Kat.

i sometimes consider to that because of my scalp, once in a while it feels too itchy, and i can't hold myself from scratch it (sometimes until it bleeds). i use a oil for sensitive scalp that it's helping me a lot, i have very long and dyed hair (so i couldn't even donate it ugh), that passed by a long process of color so idk if would be worth it for me to shave. but sometimes it's all i want to do ahah

I love the "happy little baldheaded squirrel" laugh :D I have been growing my hair for almost two years for the same reason. I wanted to cut it this spring but decided to wait another year. I have never had long hair before and I kinda like it. Hope I won't change my mind next spring again :)
