I think an interesting game to do a shaving seconds for would be Pikmin. It's a game that's popular for speed running and I bet there are all sorts of neat tricks. Plus I want to hear your funny nicknames for some of the enemies.
So; ive seen this video a fair amount of times in my recommendations, long after I hung up my SM64 cap and overalls and now is the time that the one skill I couldn't master has been perfected in less time than a 0 star run just around the 0:42 second mark? *what a time to be alive.*
I absolutely love the fast pace of this video's humor and I absolutely lost it when he said "Radical Larry into the desert." It came and went so fast that it took me a second to remember that I actually understood that reference and I had a delayed reaction laughing fit.
After rewatching this, I just now noticed all your Radical Larry references. Didn’t realize you were dropping hints at being an SCP fan all the way back here. Great vid.
I personally thought it was the worst. It was enjoyable to watch, and a couple jokes clicked with me, but the whole thing had quite a different tone and atmosphere from his other videos. This wasn't as jumpy, and because he only covered 16 stars, there wasn't a lot for him to talk about. It just didn't really feel like it fit in with the other two.
i think a great game for the next "Shaving Seconds" episode would be Super Mario World for the SNES. i believe this would be smart because lots of people want to learn the run and there are lots of cool tricks to try in it.
After seeing Terminal Montages' videos where he adds the bird up thing I made it my Ringtone and now another one of my favorite animation RU-vidrs is using it
Holy shit I asked for this exact category in the Super Mario Odyssey video. Excerpt: I need this man to cover SM64 16 star route. I can already imagine... "Grab Mips-chan, make him drop his shit so you leave him alone. Ignore his star, pick him up and throw him against the door till you clip inside. Grab him again, do it again against a star door clip inside, and abandon Mips-chan for the rest of the run. You won't be seeing him again."
Definitely a different video, but it was still very enjoyable. I'm not much of a speedrunner, but this video was still quite fun to watch. Great job. Keep up the good work
"Press zee or zed if you wanna be portentous" Me, an English, person: OR Y'KNOW, ENGLISH! Great speed run tutorial by the way, loved it, funny and educational!
"Exercising your right as an American citizen to breeze past everything with zero sense of safety or concern for others, before hurting yourself just to get somewhere slightly faster." that's powerful.
I would like it if your content became more varied but honestly I'd still enjoy it or maybe try doing less known games or those you enjoy. But keep the content coming Scott
