This has a very interesting design, but I've had a good time using the Blue Alpha Battle Belt Lite. I use the inner belt as an EDC belt for AIWB carry, and when I want to don the outer belt, I just remove my AIWB holster, tighten the inner belt and don the outer belt. Very quick and easy. The outer belt is crazy light and rigid. Almost went with the Defense Mechanisms belt, but was turned off by the lack of real MOLLE on that belt.
Looks very good just by the video. Questions: 1. How much does the inner belt weigh by its self. 2. Total weight of both belts and holster carrier? 3. Did you experiment with other inner belt buckles vs the cobra ?
Overall I like it but I'm not a fan of the Cobra buckle being on the inner belt. It makes it a pain to don and doff. I think I'm going to make a buckle that hooks into the g hooks and use my bison inner belt.
Pale Horse did the same 2 piece belt design with the MOLLE load belt being G hook. It is a great setup, and they have some new versions of their belt offering and setup. It is a bummer Shaw doesn't offer a left-handed version of this belt.
I'm glad I watched this video because I didn't think I could attach the sidekick to the north face concepts mha and qls but clearly I'm just not very bright
@@EODFish I got it done but interested to see how you do it for your set up. It's been odd trying to adjust to the canted mags. I'm using all their systems for pouches but probably will go back to esstac. Their pouches work but reindexing is pretty hard
Your technology and design is very good. So cool! And Cheap price! My country haven't tactical gear technology and shop. If you come to my country and product sell you maybe famous 🤩
You aren’t going to overheat from the belt but it absolutely has a potential to cause some hot spots. Same concept as people wanting some spacing in their PC or gelcups on their ear pro.
@@EODFish All evidence I see is to the contrary. I don’t ever see the old HSGI panels, med pouches or drop leg organizers anymore. Most I’ll see is a mid ride holster with a strap to lock it in place.
