"oh, your majesty," *turning head dramatically* "i am not worthy of such praise!" *tears start to flow* "your majesty" "your majesty" OHHHHHHH " YOUR MAJESTY!!!"
CalpolMeister Pouf had no morals or limits, he only aimed to "protect" his idea of how Meruem should be, even if it meant killing someone Meruem loved, dirty bastard hahaha
Plus he did sorta tricked Neferpitou and convinced her to fight Gon by making her think Komugi was safe and they got her back. So he is sorta responsible for her death I guess.
@@Unknown-hb3id it amaze me how loyal he is , he could literally do anything for the King , I didn't even think that being THAT loyal was even possible
These themes are a three part Sonata. Sonatas are mostly divided in three movements (the exception is always an extra movement, but rarely seen), the first two express feelings wich go separate ways, they cannot coexist, and the last movement represents what was left of the battle of the first two movements. (Beethovens Moonlight Sonata for example) The first Movements represents his burning devotion for the King The second Movement represents the grief he has during the arc, his human struggles of idealization and deception. The third and last movement has the strenght of first movement, representing his will of devotion, but this time it follows the melody of the second movement, Poufs human feelings and grief. This could mean Shaiapouf kept his devotion till his last minute, even tho his own feelings took over him. He fulfilled his duty while still heartbroken. This is truly a masterpiece
Very true. Everything he did, even behind Meruems back was in a fanatical devotion to the king. He perceives Meruem as the perfect all-powerful being that is destined to rule above all, an he will do anything to ensure that he will arrive at that point. It is also the reason why Meruem doesn't kill him or forced him to tell the whole truth.
Beautifully explained, when I first watched the series I couldn't believe how profound the music was. Poufs violin, songs like Kingdom of predators, pierced my soul with intensely complex emotions.
@@frankwest510 idk but I feel like if I put actual effort with my ten years of experience, I may be able to pull it off :) I should probably try it someday
@@em-rj1cc saved this to me "learn to play later" list. violin player here too. Agitato is fucking bananas and Lamentoso grabs and twists the soul. Both fantastic pieces.
I love him! Those who hate him missed on him as such an amazingly well written character. Imagine yourself in his or any of the Royal Guards' persepective. Devoting yourself to someone who don't even appreciate you. Like what Meruem said, he did not deserve these Royal Guard's loyalty. Pouf's death was the most tragic to me.
Ou no tame... he died one of the saddest deaths in HxH... sacrificing for the king without recognition at the very end... did you see his eyes during his death scene? It was regret... this melody reminds me of his sorrow during his death bed as he thought that he wasn't able to "help the king" entirely... his loyalty shall be remembered... same for niferpitou who was wronged by Gon and Youpi who was noble till the end. All the royal guards had the best intentions, same for Meruem, who wanted to cleanse the political pollutants... damn... will always love HxH
+Gamer Onna yeah, in the end you're like: NOOOOO the ants lost! funny thing is, even though i didn't like meruem that much (one of my favorites on hunter hunter, but not my favorite of every fiction. not by far) he was the only character i worried for, EVER. when netero started talking i was like: oh, shit... what will this damm old bastard gonna do now?.same for pouf and neferpitou, i was like, "gon you bastard, i hope you agonizing because of this ability" and pouf... well, he was my favorite character. one of the worst things about his death though, is that it was sinister. even more than neferpitou's. you don't get to see him diying, you only see his dead corpse, in a gray apocalipse-like scenario after being killed by radiation "venom".
+ShantWrites meruem changed, dude. during the fight against netero he was a completely different individual. (he spared welfin even after he shouted at him, and then wished him luck) pouf was a bitch, surely, but he was a great character nonetheless (and a really smart/troll one on top of that: "GWAHAHHAHAHA! i shall find a good spot to throw this away! GWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!") and i can't help but wonder what he was thinking as he died slowly by the poor man's rose's poison. and pitou... how can you hate her? when she was cruel, she was badass, and after she changed, she was morally right (righter than gon at least) tell me, if you were being threatened by someone, would you say something like "he's already dead... sorry..." well no, both me and you would problably be like: "he's dead motherfucker! and komugi is no longer a hostage so now you're dead!"
he is truly talented ❤ I've heard another version of this song it was nice too : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sBuYh_Dr5Dk.htmlsi=gDzFWF5q9eSMcIb6
"Your Majesty!" "Your Majesty, Your Majesty, Your Majesty!" "Please stop.....TAKING ME TO THE HEIGHTS OF HEAVENS' BLISS WITH YOUR PRAISE!" "NO MORE!!" "YOUR MAJESTY!!!"
Despite all he had done I actually like him. Yunno he went nuts when Meruem appreciated him.Thats kinda strange... But his death was one of the most tragical event in the whole anime.
@@cameronjones9092 Definitely tragic in his perspective and mine. Like what Meruem said, he did not deserve the RoyalGuards' lotalty. Imagine devoting yourself to someone who's not even appreciating you. And by the end, the last seconds of your lives where spent regretting. You totally missed on him as such an amazingly well written character.
I know im late to this comment, but I wanna say, pitou was the most loyal to meruem, pouf was loyal to his idea of king, and youpi was true to himself. Pouf was manipulative and wanted the king to be a ruthless one and powerful, even against meruem's desires.
@@i.ftekhar EXACTLY ! They were very loyal at their own way , so "we must kill this girl " and "we must save this girl " were both a sign of loyalty at the end
these are really amazing songs, like they are good even to normal music standards, yes ost's are music of course but usually they are ambiance music made for the background not made to take away from the visual aspects, but jesus this is beautiful, many layers of complexity and harmonies, love it
One of the most beautifully written character in hxh. I always loved him even when I started to hate him. His death was so tragic for me...I miss him 😿.
*inhale* remembering chimera ant arc and starting crying and being depressed about an *ant* again and how he died holding hand with his precious person, though she's *was* blind and how he was begging to her to stay by his side oh my goddess guys, not again 😭
i would understand it if u say its the best thing about the ant arc.. but not the whole anime not even better than an episode of the yorknew arc. hunter x hunter excluding the ant arc is a masterpiece. i think the ant arc was dragged on for too long just my opinion.. also hated the fact that the royalguard didnt have any good fights even pitou they skipped her fight vs kite and got raped by gon it wasnt a fight at the end
