I regret that I only have one like to give for this song. Lol. Awesome as ever. Because of this song I'm changing the title of my story from 6 Gun Samurai to 6 Shell Samurai. I've had the story idea of a spaghetti western/samurai film or book rumbling around in my head for years. It would be a bloody tale of revenge. This song got me back into that headspace. Using the term shell got me thinking. It planted an idea. If it ever becomes a movie I may be hitting you up to use this song good sir. Also, are you a fan of Red Dead Redemption? So I wrote this little something while listening to this amazing song. To all of Red Dead Redemption 2 fans and to everyone who would read this; I hope you like it :3 "What about you, my dear? Pardon me but you don't look like an outlaw, sweetheart." A woman smiled at Hosea's words as she shrugged gently. Everyone near the campfire raised their heads and looked at her as curious about her past as Matthews. If anyone else asked her about this she'd probably took it as an insult. But the old man always treated her kindly and with respect so Mary wasn't even annoyed. Although she tried to ignore other gang members who glanced at her, waiting for an answer. Mary stared at the fire as it's flames danced gustily. It rapidly devoured the wood that Charles added just a couple of minutes ago. "I wasn't planning on becoming an outlaw, that's most certain." She begun with a small, slightly sad smile. Hosea chuckled quietly at her words but remained silent, expecting continuation. "As you know O'Driscoll's found my village around three months ago, I can't say exactly how long ago that was. I lived here with my father which they killed with a cold blood. I watched as they punched him in the face, kicked him as he fell on the ground and then point a gun at his head. But they haven't kill him immediately. Fucking bastard who pulled the trigger aimed near his ear so he probably died after a few hours." Her voice grew colder with every second and her green, bright eyes were filled with pure hatred. Everyone understood the situation as they all were hunted by their own ghosts from the past. But this state of affairs was a little different; those events from Mary's story happend not long ago and her wound was still black and bruised. Even Javier felt something as he heard anger and coldness in woman's voice even if they disliked each other. "I quickly cut my hair to look more like a boy. At this time I was wearing my father's old clothes so I was ready when they found me. Otherwise they'd probably rape me and leave me to die. At first they wanted to kill me as I jumped at one of them and started punching and kicking with fury. I haven't even thought about other possibilities or ways from that situation; I was too angry, too sad and too desperate to think soberly. But when Colm saw me, fighting with a man twice as big as me, he decided that I suit his gang. That's the only reason why I'm still alive." Everyone went silent as she sighed deeply and closed her eyes, trying to stay calm. Hosea instantly regretted his attempt to start this conversation and put his hand on her shoulder but the woman just shook her head and smiled gently through the pain. Javier couldn't look away as she finally raised her head and stared him dead in the eyes. Mary's story took her back to her village and she wasn't really looking at Escuella. This stare was meant for only one person in the whole world. Athough seeing her in this state, almost feeling her hatred sent shivers down his spine. "Don't worry, Hosea, I don't need your compassion. You see, I haven't had the time to cry about this. He killed the one that I loved most of all. Now I'm with you, an outlaw; a man on the run. And I'm gonna kill the man that pulled the trigger." She cleared her throat and looked away, immersed in thoughts. No one dared to say a word for a really long time as her last comment left everyone speechless. Suddenly Javier opened his mouth and said: "Oh you will. And we'll help you with that." He wasn't really sure if she heard him. Mary seemed to be somewhere else but then a small smile appeared on her face. No more words needed; silence between them said more than thousands of them.
