Do you mean open about his feelings in songs or interviews? Because those are rather different. I immediately think of The Weeknd, who's arguably also very open about his feelings through his music, but for one - the messages are almost always vague and let you interpret them for yourself, and the other thing is, he almost never gives interviews about his music, let alone his personal life.

His spirit is really incredible for a man. I’m sorry to say that but he really has so much divine feminine energy and he has healing energy. I wish more men were able to be as soft with themselves as he is. I think our world would be much more gentle.

They always had something bad to say about them both and with people saying “it’s a publicity stunt” etc. I’m trying to think if the paparazzi/headlines/haters ruined it. You can tell from their "I know what you did last summer" collaboration. They had interviews and stuff and he'd always be making eye contact w her even when she wasn't looking. And ofc he also admitted to having wrote ALL his songs for her. And camila pretty much rejected and friend zoned him for years until that Matthew guy dumped her himself

Notice in another interview he talks about seeing pictures of her before they were together and he use to say he had feelings now he says when he sees the picture Wow, then goes on to say he felt same during the time together and even now seeing pictures of her Wow. What he is doing is being groomed by his team/publicist covering all the the fans and skeptics concerns of how he could have loved her, not see a picture and say Wow, but he use to say he loved her all those years, so he is covering all these topics to put them aside so comments will be squashed but he is not answering like Shawn use to answer and it is so obvious. I agree with this. Lots of artists write songs about their ex’s & don’t feel the need to say their name every 5minutes, even when fans usually know who they’re singing about. To me & im just talking about my own opinion here, him thinking that being so open to, let’s face it strangers, will endear him to his fans. And he does seem to make a lot of decisions based on fan reaction. but to me, who is a fan I feel like he’s trying to manipulate us & it makes me feel like he’s using her to get more streams or whatever & it cheapens the relationship they had. He’s coming across as a bit of a user. I’m also not denying he’s upset over the split, but if what we know is true & it was his decision, well being someone myself who’s broken up with people, generally you’re in a much happier place. I mean that’s kind of the point, cos it means you’re unhappy in the relationship, so when that’s finished with, it’s generally a relief. Otherwise why break up at all. So in conclusion, it’s Camila who I feel for as no one likes to be dumped. The dumper is never gonna feel as bad as the dumpee.

@@PHILLYMEDIC69 I’d completely agree with your statement, had it not been for Shawn. He has always been great, showing love, gratitude and vulnerability. You simply hate on him, because you recognize the amount of goodness you’re lacking.

If I were him, I would get my finances secure, buy a house and fully pay for it, and then come out. That way, if the majority of his female fan base leaves him/stops supporting him at the financial rate they currently do and have in the past, he won’t become broke and have to go get a normal job that doesn’t truly make him happy.
