Why is everyone asking Shawn for one more match??? He retired in the most magnificent way at WRESTLEMANIA 26 in the main event with the undertaker, why would he want to comprise that?? I respect Shawn for sticking to the stipulation & staying retired
I agree, there's no way he can top his WM26 sendoff. I always think about how Flair wrestled in TNA years after his great retirement match. I think it tainted Flair's legacy a little bit. I don't want to see Shawn do that.
The moment when Shawn ignored jim was the best moment of the interview. I believe that if anyone is going to interview anybody, you better do the research. Especially because we have all the information at our finger tips.
On time my dad was at work and Shawn Michaels showed up, he sped home to get his wrestling belt for Shawn to sign it. I went with him and it was hilarious watching my dad awkwardly try to get the courage to talk to Shawn.
Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles in the same sentence is just too awesome, the match may never happen but talking about it and seeing that picture of Shawn and AJ facing each other gives me chills #UltimateDreamMatch
1grizzfan4life The business consists of more than just WWE. Misawa/Kobashi from 1990-2005, Bryan Danielson 2004-2010, Styles/Okada 2010-present. Point is... HBK was great, but he was never the best.
Chris TcRRoR I'm assuming this are all ROH guys since I only know 2 of them. Not everyone watches Ring of Honor, I didn't except for RU-vid matches so have no idea what you're talking about.I would have put Bret Hart early 90s and Undertaker on my list, but mostly Shawn Michaels because he was great in the ring. Most of the guys that hated him agreed on that.Heck HBK trained Bryan Danielson!
His gimmick alone is better than anything the WWE could come up with at this point. It's actually original unlike anything they have now. Their entire roster is retreads of what's already been done.
@@Tcrror THAT'S crazy! lol because i thought that same thing this morning, i made a play list to fall asleep to last night and dave meltzer was on it, he recalled all of the wrestlemania's 1-30 and i was getting angry laying there because he couldn't speak properly, i said to myself can this asshole please coherently piece together a sentence? i didn't want to take off my sleep mask and change the play list plus looking at the laptop screen burns your eyes when your coming out of a sleep
Shawn Michael's can still wrestle great and his match against the undertaker and Kane was phenomenal. He is still HBK,Mr Wrestlemania the showstopper.Shawn was awesome in that match.Shawn is and always will be the greatest in ring performer in wrestling history.
Its a breath of fresh air to have Shawn Michaels be humble and a family man. Guys like Hogan and Flair squeezing the life out of a over embellished career. Plus, Shawn isn't bad mouthing the new era nor talks about comebacks or payday appearances. For every washed up wrestler in front of 300 people in an armory, thank god there's the guys like Michaels.
Shawn doesnt want to over stay his welcome in the business and tarnish his legacy. When you see Flair and Hogan still climbing steel cages and taking bumps at their age,its pitiful. The “Shawn Michaels” character is a young man in all actuality,he’s a heartthrob,a high flyer...at 51,I think he just doesnt want be that anymore and end up looking washed up rather than a legend. My favorite wrestler of all time, the GOAT.
Glad to hear he's born again. It's hard for ppl with his kind of fame to ask for help and forgiveness and start living right. Fame is a high most can't come down from. God and family come first.
Jim is a real good guy. He clearly doesn't give two shits about wrestling but tolerates wrestling former or current coming in anyways because Sam loves it.
18:58-19:10 Him and his wife went to a new church? That means he left Cornerstone Church :/ I know how much Cornerstone Church changed his whole life when he walked in there in 2002
Shawn michaels is still strong, the way how he sweet chin music is still look as it is and his shape is still look very good...I wish he compete before he gets older and weaker
Good interview, good that they brought up the subject of wrestlers being buried by him. You could tell him was sick and tired of hearing that rumor and I know I'm tired of hearing on these shoot interviews over the years. Shawn did his best to put it into perspective . You'd think after all these years people realize that Vince was the one in charge & making the decisions . I guess the guys that didn't get pushes just had to blame someone.
Shawns brain either works too fast or works too slow. He says a lot but never says anything. His train of thought seems to skip off to the next train of thought always mid thought.
I think he is a smart guy, but, he has been beaten up on an almost daily basis for almost 30 years, and done truckloads of drugs to deal with the pain. It only makes sense that his mind and body are not quite what they used to be.
The time question did seem abit disrespectful. Although it probably wasn't meant to be.I thought Shawn handled it pretty good though when he basically said it don't bother him cause he wants to be their.
i totally respect Shawn's choice not to compete in the ring anymore he has nothing left to prove he has proven all he needs to prove to me i have watched all his matches he has nothing left to prove to me love you Shawn Michaels god bless you
Shawn is dam fool... if my body was working and im in shape at 51 u bet your ass im going to squeeze 2 or 3 matches in their especially if vince is going to pay me some millions...
I read his newest book in a week which still amazes my family b/c I'm a magazine-guy not a book guy -I prefer magazines over books but his book was so great I couldn't put it down? He's to me The Greatest of All Times? 2. The Undertaker- The guy that HBK had his 2 greatest matches 3. Ric Flair -Without a doubt has an argument for those who call him the greatest and I could go on and on and on but I saw Ric Flair jump off the top rope 1x and land the move he was looking for? HBK did things like that, that put him at #1?
Shawn Micheals is the greatest in ring performer. There are only a couple of wrestlers that come close to him.Heres the list.Ricky Steamboat, AJ Styles,Chris Jerhico,RIC Flair in his early career wrestling style,Hiro Masuda and his Rockers teammate Marty Jennety

All those people are still in the wrestling industry. I meant the people who retire and end up crackheads and weirdos. Chyna, Jake the Snake, X-Pac, etc. In comparison to that, Shawn seems to be doing pretty well. Besides, it was a joke to begin with.
I love shawn michaels as a wrestler and a person he became. I wish he didn't do all the negative stuff with the dx antics, and just show his great talent, and that is to me the greatest wrestler of all time.
I also think he is stuttering because its hard to choose words with sensitive ass wrestling fans and guys still bitter about jobs from 20yrs ago. Like he said “If they didnt make it here...where did they make it?” ..”born again” but he’s def more in the loop than he lets on.
