As someone whose native tonge isn't english and being not too much into hip hop/rap stuff and the slang that's used everywhere, I'm really glad you're explaining some of the bars. "To leave the heat on" meaning to carry a gun with you at all times for example, that was something I wouldn't have known by myself. You're giving the genre noobs a chance to understand what's said in the song and therefore making them learn to appreciate the lyrics more. (If they're freethinkers of course) Just wanted to get this out here.

This is by far the best channel on here - a great example of how people from all over can come and share ideas - don’t always agree - in fact most see things different - but there is mutual respect and understanding - very rare in this cynical world. I grew up on Punk & Metal (from Ramones to Slayer) but easily crossed over to other genres when it connected with me - from The Smiths & The Cure to NWA & Public Enemy. This song reminds me of one of my favorites back then - Boogie Down Productions. Amazing lyrics that stick with you for days as they are so cerebral and on a higher level the 99% of what’s out there. Thanks for explaining Ryan and George. You won't get a ton of likes for this song because he is another artist with a low key Atlantic Records connection, but Garrett Zoukis' "Don't See" definitely deserves a reaction for his different style/sampling choices and approach.
