I'm still salty over their breakup. There had been SO many clues Shawn isn't psychic, and finding a ticket in his suit coat pocket did it for her? Not the fact that he constantly accused the wrong person first, or broke all procedure when finding out the culprit? Or.....so many reasons.
I mean she could have thought of it but thats what shawn just did it wasn't abnormal for him to break any procedures i mean he did that even before he started being "psychic" so I doubt that she was for sure like "hes definitely not psychic" because he wouldve done that anyways even if he told them he's not psychic in the first place because thats just how he solved things
I haven't watched most of the show, I'm still on season 4, but the breakup doesn't make any sense to me. So far, from what I've seen, Shawn and Jules just work right together. It makes no sense for them to split. So what if he's not a physic?! I understand being angry at him for lying the whole time but see it from his point of view! There was no way the SBPD would listen to him if he just said, "I'm more observant than you so listen to me." The ruse was fun but it was also simply to survive freely and help justice. Again, I haven't seen the rest of the show and I feel really stupid scrolling through "heartbreak" edits and getting this spoiled for me, but it seems like the writers just wanted to wrench the fans' hearts, not to actually flesh out the characters. Maybe I'm just being optimistic and definitely taking this too seriously/personally, but it hurts especially not having watched up to this point. Dang, why'd I have to watch those edits . . .
