I remember being a young kid growing up in Bowen homes and my mom would tell me “you know Shawty Lo used to walk up and down that street all the time” it was an honor knowing I grew up in his stomping grounds, and not even knowing I was around one of the most respected from Atlanta, still bumping in 2024+ REST IN PEACE ❤
Shawty Lo 2023 ion know about y’all but when this jawn hit it’s was good times for on every aspect, this was that good music when I play stuff like this for my kids compared to today’s rap they missed out on a lot of good music fr.💯💯💯
Facts my neighbor had a clean crimson Ford Fusion and would beat the block down to this joint got on my nerves lowkey but yeah this song bumps heavy 😅🤣🔥
I’m from the west but grew up in the south. LO a straight up Legend. Back then the media tried to downplay him. He will always get played in my car fasho. Don’t matter how old it is. RIP LO 🙏🏽
I went to college in January of 2008. This was my song! Brings back memories in Tallahassee at FAMU. Never truly enjoyed being young. Playing catchup now... Raw'en them all LMAO!
Rip lo, I never understood why he got so much hate, he used his talent to feed his family, we all strive to do the same, the man is a legend, case closed
R.I.P Shawty Lo and condolences to the family. I respected his grind and his composure. He reminded me of an era of real boss dudes from the 90's. Laid back; didn't have to run his mouth talking junk back but stood on his. And to go from a guy that wasn't even a rapper to putting out national hits shows his grind and talent. They way he said it we knew he lived it. I can remember going to ATL with my brother in late 07' bumpin "Dey Know" heavy. Sadly he left us two months later in a car wreck as well. Thanks for the memories you gave us through music in Montgomery, Alabama.
A BANGER that will never get old , It’s easy to see and only the Realest will agree ;)) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! R.I.P. Legend
@@samuelcalzada9754 Don't matter, He was one of the only niggas NOT lying in his music. Him and Rocko 2 of the realist who never really got the proper respect
I’m 25 this came out when I was like 8-9 man I remember my pops taking me to cars shows 2 tone bubble caprice chevy with 22in spinners. We pulled up to a stop light and he pointed over to right side at like a plaza where you could see the reflection of the car. I’ll never forget how that car looked stopped wheels still spinning . Had this on repeat all weekend good memories 😭
