It did make me sad for Colette hearing Roman talk about how it was “just text messages”. As someone who has gone through this as well (partner online cheating), it doesn’t feel that way. It is completely devastating and has so many layers beneath the text messages of dishonesty, distrust, lack of connection, confusion, so many negative feelings. On top of that, Colette being a public figure and having to process in the spotlight. I think that was flippant of Roman to say and he should have acknowledged Colette’s pain.

Drunk texting is when you get drunk and emotional and text an ex, not having a full blown description of every messed up thing you want to do to another woman that isn't your wife and then show her how you're playing with yourself. It's cheating, without question. And after all this time he's still blaming the alcohol and crying to the world about how hard his life is. Nah, he wanted something new and exciting because he got too rich and too bored, just like he said. I actually felt quite sorry for Colette when Roman and Britt said they felt like Shay’s mistakes were totally blown out of proportion. It’s kind of insensitive towards Colette because at that time, her world came crumbling down around her. It was such a serious thing for them to go through as a family, so to say it blew up out of proportion is a little insensitive I feel. Edit; after watching his older editor/employee Danna’s video about working for Shay, I can category say that this man is a monster. If you have not watched it, please give it a watch. Shay is not the victim here.

same😊... except, I found them at 24. I was pregnant and alone at the time (no family + hubby was sent to iraq) The shaytards became my family, the family I had always needed. Even with the texts and drinking, they outshine my family... Also, I was pregnant at the same time as Colette so that made me feel a bond too.

Wow. Just wow for them down playing Collettes feelings is horrible. The way she must of felt after being married to a man for years and creating a family and children. Alcohol is not and excuse to cheat on your wife under any circumstance.

She was a family friend and an employee ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GtwkZdTlwUY.html Shay Carl needs to get himself in check. I wish people would just say what Shay did. Instead of sugarcoating it in a way. He did what he did. Yes, they’ve moved on and became better. But he still chose to do stuff that would jeopardize his marriage and family. Sucks that she didn’t leave him, no woman deserves that disrespect when they’ve given that person everything..

Colette, I have followed you on instagram, I am in awe of your growth. As I also have grown in mine, you have been a nice reflection. Your ability to go within and learn from this journey called life is an inspiring one. I have seen you find yourself, your strength and I appreciate you for sharing it. I love the Shaytards and I acknowledge the whole family for going through these growing pains in public- in private struggles are hard enough. I acknowledge you for taking steps to shift this Shay. Perhaps a public eye is quite an incentive to shift it and be with it more quickly. We all make mistakes and I applaud you for going to therapy and doing what is best for YOUR family. And to continue your channel is an example for others. I am glad you addressed the elephant in the room because as much as you brought us inspiration as a fun family, you are also by default in sharing your story, bringing clarity to so many that love you all. People invested their time towards your channel and to acknowledge this, is to acknowledge your fan base. I can still be in awe by the fun you create in your life and inspired to not limit my kids in their own lives. That still exists in your channel. Blessings.
