I’m 29 and rewatching these. The show was iconic and I still hold so much love for it. I feel like I visiting with old friends. The show was such a huge part of my teenage years and I can see now looking back how much it influenced and inspired me.

I love how grateful she is, I still would be interested to hear how the actresses feel about all the plot holes and unresolved storylines. It's so unfortunate because PLL had so much potential as a show.

The 12 year old lied about her age (that she’s older) to get the role. And when they realized that she’s 12 it was too late and they couldn’t just change the entire script. They even asked Sasha’s parents if the kiss was okay and Sasha didn’t have a problem with it either. Also the “inappropriate things” were filmed in 2008-2015. Times were different back then.

Probably the reason why she is denying her filipino roots that It is now becoming viral. Her mother was born in Pampanga, the now suburbs of Manila. Her grandparents were all from the Phils. How can ahe denied her mother's roots qnd said she's a Spanish Irish ancestors where her accents is filipino American up to this day? It's a full disrespect to her mother. He illusion maybe roots from taking a commercial DNA in the states. I am a spanish italian born in the Phils. my blood is a pure european for my great grandparents were from both european countries. My parents was born in the Phils. and I and my siblings were all are but we never claimed to be of what we really came from. It is a pride to be born in Southeast Asia especially being a filipino, it is an advantage. I have as well an Irish in commercial DNA besides of where my greats were rooted but never bragged about my beautiful genes. This woman Michelle Shay is in her delusional hypocrasy

She may have gone very far career wise, and bec of that she don't want to be identified thinking it will not help her career. Who could be more cheap than that? She maybe a big star but will never be truly self fulfilled. Anyway, for me as Filipina, I would never run after her identifying herself to be part of my country and people. We don't need her. I've grown up and the show doesn't make much sense to me anymore (since it's aimed at teenagers), but I still love Emily's character to this day. As a bisexual woman, it was very enriching to see Shay Mitchel's character on stage, because I felt like there was nothing wrong with me being attracted to women. And I'm sure your character helped many other LGBT teenagers.
