Fiqh or Iman related OCD is very pervasive among sincere eager teenagers and youngsters, who fall pray to fiary but shallow fiqh sermons or fiqh books. In that green age, it is hard to share the feelings of uncertainty and insecurity, resulting in mild to severe OCD that really causes pain. I think all fiqh books and lectures should mention all the exceptions to the rules and the principles that you mentioned. But sadly they do not, and we suffer.

Masya Allah.. Beautiful explanation. However, it would be of great help if the Qur'an chapter & verse, as well as Hadith reference number are either mentioned verbally or by displaying on screen to facilitate further checking by audience & viewers.

This is the first time I'm hearing a Muslim scholar acknowledge that we have to act "as though we have free will". This might be as close to a deterministic argument that I'll ever hear from a Muslim considering a lot appear to swear by compatibilism. Very interesting point

OCD is relentless, intrusive thoughts in perpetuity which are irrational and causing 😳 anxiety and/or depression. Dikr 100x/day can resolve this. Solution advised by Sheik: Islam is simple and Allah wants ease for us; maxims of fique (that which is certain is not elicited that something that is doubtful; wudu procedure, everything should be clean, certainty is cleanliness; until you are certain you broke wudu then just continue your salat; ignore what is doubtful; thoughts of waswas or evil 😈 or negative, then your reaction is the essence of faith so don't act upon those thoughts; consistent sleep habits; have good, positive friends; have small, achievable goals, keeping personal journal to express your feelings, listen to Quran recitation.)

As salamualaikum wa Rahmatullah. JajakAllah for your wonderful and analytical approach of answering the questions of our brothers and sisters in Islam. I am a Sr. Citizen of Canada have been living this country for more than 13 years with my family. Alhamdulillah I am really thankful to Allah SWT to have the opportunity of listening to your valuable lectures and Seerah of our beloved Prophet SAWS. I work 3/4 days in a week and rest of the time try to listen to your lectures on different issues . My father died long before and could not perform Hajj. Is it permissible If I want to make a Hajje Badal for him by someone from Mekka or Medina on his behalf since expenses for doing this from Canada is high. May Allah SWT grant you sound health at all circumstances and keep you safe to serve the Ummah , particularly those living in Western environment. Ameen.

As always excellent q&a. Re the issue of gifting good deeds to the dead not mentioned in Quran and Hadith.... our beloved shaikh has given a view which shows respect to other’s points of view. I have to very very very humbly and respectfully disagree with the opinion that we can give any of our good deeds to anyone as the good deeds belong to us. Once this door is opened then we can say that I will pay someone a sum of money regularly if they give the sawab of all their prayers and fasting and Hajj etc to my deceased parents. A few generations later people will say that the good deeds can be given to the living based on the same principle that it’s my good deeds so I can give them to anyone; then a few hundred years later people will say that I can take the bad deeds from a person based on the same principle. The list of things that open up is endless. May Allah saw guide us all.

Brother, you might be forgetting a fundamental point. "INTENTION" We give our deed with the INTENTIONS that we owe some kind of gratitude toward the person we are gifting. We also hope in our hearts that Allah shows us mercy for our small sacrifice. If you give money to someone for giving away his deed then the intention is corrupted, he is doing it for the money, and as far as I know, you don't even get good deeds if you do a spiritual action for money. so how can someone give away their deeds when they can't even earn them in the first place?
@truthseeker185
@truthseeker185 3 года назад
Jazakallah for taking out the time to respond. Much appreciated. Actually I did not forget about intention. I am trying to say that if something is started which is not there in Quran, sunnah or acts of sahaba, then it opens a door which has the potential to lead to a number of deviant practices. Looking at history, this kind of practice usually takes several generations and probably a few hundred years. Hence these things should be avoided right at the beginning of these practices. Re giving money and taking good deeds , I was referring to the concept mentioned in the lecture that good deeds belong to a person and he can do whatever he wants to. So if someone is poor and a rich man says that i will provide you with financial support in exchange for your good deeds; then according to the lecture the poor man has the right to give away his good deeds as they belong to him. I am not saying that our beloved shaikh yq is saying this; I am saying that a few hundred years from now there is a potential for this concept to be abused in this way. Bottom line is that we should strongly hold on to the practices of the earliest generation as much as possible. Prophet sw has mentioned so many things that we can do for our deceased relatives and people generally forget those and want to read Quran and give the reward to the dead. The best we can say about such practice is that may be it benefits the dead , and may be it doesn’t. People have already taken it to another level in which they sit together and each person reads a different juz of the Quran. These are non Arabic speaking people who don’t even know what they have read and then they pray for the dead. Where has the practice come from ? Where will it lead to ?

? This is for the OCD with the officer body question Yasir gali he is not OCD this is whis wasps do you need to denounce Satan and elevate your lord all Allahu Akbar there is a Hadith there's a Hadith about a man who suffered the same from the companions and the prophet peace and blessings be upon him said that this is normal if everybody reached the status a peyote then they would be shaking hands with the angels but we are not angels we are human that's why were elevated in our status and we become in the eyes of Allah better than the Angels because we are human yet we continuously strive to make ourselves better to please Allah and denounce Satan and we are those in the flights of Allah who repeatedly seek Refuge Enola from the accursed Devil giblees and as for the lady and the cleanliness everybody goes through this sometimes again don't denounce Satan and elevate your lord Allahu Akbar in remembrance when I say Elevate I don't mean that the Lord Almighty needs to be elevated I mean that humans need to elevate? Praise Allah Allahu Akbar unlock the greatest everything is clean until it is proven otherwise as for the floors just to wear shoes everything that's dirty is clean if you don't know if the status of it as long as it is dry it is clean may Allah protect you all may Allah protect us all may Allah forgive us all may Allah grant us all Paradise in the highest ranks amen

God changed the prophet hood from Issac mother Sara to Ishmael mother Hager both son of Abraham. The reasons for the change as in sura Yassin We sent them two I.e prophets Mosses and Aron they refused them and We reinforced with the third Jesus they refused him but rather killed him on their eyes but God raised him. God says in sura Israa 1 to 8 we gave two promises to Israelis for return to Jerusalem. The first was completed and this was during David 1030 BC and ended during Solomon 930 BC. Sura Al Bakara chster 2 details all the process that went from the time of Adam replacing the Devil in the earth and became the enemy of human to God ask Muhammad to clean the place of Abraham and Ismael in Macca. Than God ask Muhammad to change the kibla the direction to face during pray confirming the change of God center from Jerusalem to Macca. The Quran starts with stories of Noah 4000 Bc after the great flood and has given us seven of the nation's that God has destroyed them after they refused to follow the prophet . Sura Hud give the right sequence of prophets Noah HUD, Saleh , Abraham Loot , Shuaba Moses. From Quran we know Abraham and Loot were at the same time 2000 BC Mosses and Shuaib were same time 1500 BC but Shuaib leaves long . Jesus was sent AD Muhammad was sent 570 AD Sura Bakara chapter 2 Aya 1 to 20 God explains the Quran with alphabet of Arabic and define the muumin and mushrik Aya 21 up 39 exp God creation and replacing Devil with Adam in earth Aya 40 to 86 Mosses liberates Israel from Farou receive Toura and take them to the promised land and ask them to enter bowing face down but they refused and Mosses and Aron asked their God separation from their people. God said to Moses your people will wander the land till my promises. Aya 87 to 88 God say than we gave Jesus but the refused him. Aya 89 to 129 God give Quran to Muhammad and ask him to clean Macca for prayers. At a 130 135 discus the Abraham ask God prophet hood to Ishmael kinship in Macca and prised his nation and say thus were Nation have passed and now you are Nation Aya 137 to 150 God change the kibla from Jerusalem to Macca confirmation of changing the God religious center to Macca. Aya 151 to 284 God details the law of Islam from prayer to trade and prohibition of riba note 246 to 249 discusses the first promise of return by Daud/suleiman. Also aya 259 discusses Azeri the Israeli took as son of God he memorized the Tourat . Aya 284 to 286 God close the sura by saying He is owner of the heavens and earth and prophet and muumin believes in his dominions. Three events will happen 1 return of Jews to the promised land Balfour 1917 for a century. Dhulqarnain I.e century for the first promise and the second. 2 Gog ma Gog war and return of Jesus. The return of jews to Jerusalem is linked to Gog ma Gog and also with Dhulqarnain direction that to prepare hints reason for this war and Al Aqsa. 3 End of the world.
