Exactly brother. When I used to be Christian I spent some time at a Pentecostal youth camp, and they would always blast music and drums and singing. They based their entire spiritual experience of the “Holy Ghost” on music. Alhamdullilah I have come to Islam. We have no need for music or mass crowd psychology. Our truth stands on its own.

I don't know which book you mean but there are tons of videos on RU-vid about Christian preachers who chose Islam. The famous ones are Yusuf Estes and Yushua Evans. I don't know the name of many but if you search "Christian preacher to Islam", you'll find many interesting videos

Asalām-Alaykum. I remember an authentic Hadīth where the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ advised Mu'ādh bin Jabal, when he was appointed as the governor (Amīr) of Yemen. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ told them to call them towards the Oneness of Allāh and then towards the Messengership of Muhammad ﷺ.

I can understand where you and other Scholars are coming from, but check this out; we know that both liquor and zina are haraam outright, yes? In general, wearing silk for men is prohibited, but there are exceptions within that. A couple of the Sahabahs of An-Nabi SAW were allowed to wear silk because of health (skin) conditions. Even in some battles, silk was worn to distract the enemy. Regarding musical instruments along those things if we understand it today, a perfect example would be going to a night club or concerts where drinking, zina, vulgar provoking activities are taking place would be haraam, not music itself. That's throwing the baby out with the bathwater. You want to throw the dirty water out out and fill it with clean water and save the baby. As long as music is used for wholesome, healthy entertainment without haraam lyrics or encouraging haraam, then it's halal.
