The fact that in 2 years when Gavin returns from his mission he'll be 20, Avia will be 19, Emmi 17, Brock 14 and Daxton 11 is still so mind blowing to me. 2 short years and so much will change.

these parents prioritized and made sure their kids have a fulfilling childhood. that’s what parents are for.

Wow it’s crazy that I’ve been watching you guys since 2010. Seeing the kids grow up is unreal to me. I haven’t watched you guys in a while since I to grew up and life took over but watching your videos again just brings back so many good memories of always watching a new video when I got home from school and watch the Christmas special during winter break. It’s also kind of heartbreaking too cause I wish I could get that happiness back. Love you guys ❤️❤️

5 years ago my Aunt past away and I had to drive up to Virginia to see her one last time, I was very down. I loved her very much, but when I got back to Texas and laid on my bed on that same day Shaytards posted their first video again after a few years of being out of vlogging, it made me feel way better than I did before I got home. I remember growing up hating taking family pictures & just pictures in general. My grandmother my mums mum ever since I can remember at any family gathering we HAVE to have pictures taken no matter what. And if there wasn’t a good picture of everyone we have to retake them again. I remember us kids groaning and saying you got to be kidding me when will this end? We still do that just not as much like as in every other 4 or 5 minutes we would used to ask that. Honestly it takes up to like 30 or 40 minutes sometimes a whole hour or a little over an hour especially when the whole entire family are together. (and that’s just on my mums side.) Her and my mum but mainly my grandmother still to this day say “Okay it’s time for pictures!” And she always sounds so excited. Then a lot of the times one of my other family members say “You guys know the drill.” Or “You all know what time it is.” Whenever we all hear her say “Okay!” Love the videos! You all always make me laugh and smile especially on tough days. ❤️
