12:12 REALL bc i’ve seen multiple comments like this, especially when her initial leaks dropped. Imo it’s such a tired and old argument that doesn’t add anything productive to the conversation.. I understand nostalgia and whatnot but g3 will never be a carbon copy of g1 and that’s completely OK! Besides, the sheer variety and diversity across this series makes the characters I loved in g1 shine in a whole new light and I absolutely love to see it. Catty is def no exception here 😍! She’s one of my favorite g3 dolls now, and I can’t wait to pick her up myself. Great vid as always~

I was one of the people that felt like Catty should have kept her original silhouette (but was never rude or anything to anyone who liked her just like that!) And now , a little before she was going to come out, I’m happy to say that I changed my mind, she’s perfect and I’m so happy that a pop star has this body, when in reality is very different, all of them are super thin in general. When I saw she had a belly I was even happier, because I was expecting just curvy, and not more fat. I can say anything of Mattel using us fans to get more money in an insulting way and etc, but I cannot say that they don’t give us diversity. I always thought that MH needed this because of the phrase “be yourself, be unique, be a monster”, I really liked the different heights and molds but this was missing, and now is finally here ❤

When she was leaked I really wasn't a fan but seeing all the reviews I'm really starting to love her, shes just so ground breaking for the doll community shes not just curvy but the body type is also realistic which I love to see!!

I feel like the designers knew they didnt have the budget for her outfit so I feel like they made HER as good as they could for the fans to customise because I know Mattel didnt give her much to not only sculpt her but make her outfits and accessories, I mean just look at how her brands are separated FOR you!!! and her face is so cute!!! I really hope she comes to the uk and SOON!!

I think if the sleeves were a clear shiny vinyl it would be better,more of a shiny "glass" look to kinda match the shatter patterns she has

Catty has been my fav since she were introduced and honestly her G3 version doesn't disappoint 💖 I can't stand the coat or the dress personally but other than that she is basically perfect like. I can't wait until my first one ships out (& will order 2 more as soon as she arrives in stores in the EU). Honestly I kinda like that the glasses makes her eyes looks slightly bigger, it's like they are actually prescription glasses or something (cause if you are very longsighted irl the lenses makes your eyes look bigger). Not sure if they did that on purpose but I love the effect 🥰

I love Catty, too!!!! ❤🖤❤️ I think she's perfect and her color 😍 the pearlescent finish on her body is just beautiful. I need to do the boil wash on my dolls hair, but I did wash and put her hair back up, I like your pony way more though! 😊 thanks for sharing and I agree G3, is awesomely diverse.

She is one of the best if G3 so far. She eats - absolutely stunning. Left no crumbs. PS: love the touch ups to her accessories you did. Imma get a second to do the same. I never alter mine; I keep stock. So, for my first try with Catty, I need a second so I know I have a stock one in the collection.

Honestly I adore the new bodies and the variety in body types and heights. I could never get into the original Monster Highs, the twig-thin bodies and the massive heads just would not cut it. These new dolls are so much cooler!

I need to be honest here ..I really with all of my heart and soul WANT to genuinely like the new Catty. I really do given how much she was my favorite back in G1 , and how she now has my exact body type down to the tummy and rolls. I even get the silly fat cat idea that they're going for, But anytime I see her all I can think of is how much I hate my own body for looking that way in real life😢 I SHOULD be happy, but it just feels like an unintentional reminder of how big and stocky I am. Sorry for the rambling

If you don't think a cat would have a cat as a pet, you don't know cats. I love her sculpt and her face but I HATE her outfit. I can't get past it. I hope they release more Catty dolls with better outfits. Or with any luck I'll find a second hand one some time in the future that I can make an outfit for.
