I'm not sure Scanty has gone through life before. My father died early, I have to struggle hard in my Tertiary education. That doesn't mean my mum was irresponsible. I started fending for myself at the age of 16. I didn't have anyone to ask for a phone from cos they were even expecting the phone from us...that isn't how it was supposed to be...but it is what it is. I remember one day I had had enough and questioned my mom why a little boy like me would be facing that kind of suffering...all she said was that it is going to be well. I couldn't complain much cos I knew if she had the means, she would've taken good care of me and my siblings Today I sit in my car with my mom and we take beautiful selfies...I didn't have to come post her on social media and brand her as an irresponsible parent. We don't get to choose our parents...we face life as it is and do our possible best to be better versions of ourselves. The lady isn't wrong for asking for a phone from her parents...they are the right people to get it for her. The parents aren't wrong for not being able to get it for her cos their energy is in a different direction (school) Case closed.
