But, It was written on Qianlong tomb that he, himself, requested her to be buried along with him and his first queen in the same place. It is also believed that the number of children can indicate how favored the concubine is. It sounds very reasonable because it is not that easy to sleep with someone once in a while and have that person pregnant. Well, among all consorts, including the first and the second queen, Ling gui fei had the most children with Qianlong emperor, in total 6 or 7. Moreover, she was promoted to Imperial noble consort very easily even though she came from lowest-rank family . After her death, no one could not climb up to the top, no alive queen nor Imperial noble consort. If she was not favored until the day she died, why would she be with Qianlong instead of Ruyi. A common question, would you like to have someone you hate close the you or after death? I don’t say that Ruyi is just a fictional story bases on history. It could be right or wrong but you cannot change the fact that Ling gui fei was in the that position for many years, ten years, I think.

Harraz Termizi I get your point actually. I just answer to Amy Lin who deleted her comments from this post. She stated that it is good that Ling gui fei was taken out before her son became an emperor because she deserved to die. So, the truth and Ruyi is a bit different. I personally like Wei Yan Wan a lot because she is beautiful and very ambitious. To survive in the place like that, it is required to be strong and do whatever you can to thrive to the top, especially when we have no back up nor anything to lose.
