But I spoke up and thank God she listened to me and did something about it. I was 10 years old but know I'm in my 50s. In regards to the message at the end, when you become a mother those nurturing and protecting instincts kick right in and no matter how nice, peaceful, calm you are, if someone violates your child, that mother bear will come right on out and put a hurting on whoever crossed the line.
