I was listening last week. When Sid prayed I put my hand on my knee prayed and Jesus healed it. I have had healings in the past. Jesus is so good. Pray in jesus name over your father.

So i was given godly counsel and told to cultivate my love walk with Jesus and He had my own experiences as He would please. Am glad i took this advice. Christianity is great, because it took away shame and guilt along with sin and it's power over us. It's great because as we really study God's Word we can know God the Father and Jesus our SAVIOUR and LORD, and Holy Spirit. We are adopted and gravted into the Vine. We are not left to ourselves to feel our way thru our walk in the Holy Spirit. We will be taught,corrected, disaplined as children are. That's love to not let me fall into a wrong path. When you are searching for ministers to teach, find the tried and true who teach rightly dividing the Word of Truth. Too many have fallen into the wrong teaching leading people astray. Those are the ones who tickle the ears,twist scripture,teach out of context to Truth, and very excited about supernatural. Learn who those are and why!!!

If a person is in a church that teaches the full Word of God and really stressed reading and studying scripture as approved by God, they wouldn't be in bondage to the past or present. May I correct something you wrote?. In Matt 5 is the sermon on the mount. It reads, blessed (enjoying enviable happiness, spiritually prosperous---with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions),are the poor in spirit (the humble who rate themselves insignificant) for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Also,those who mourn for they shall be comforted. And the meek (mild, patient, long-suffering) for they shall inherit the earth. And those who hunger and thirst for rightousness ( uprightness and right standing with God) for they shall be completely satisfied. And the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Jesus goes on and teaches right thinking throughout the rest of the chapter. These scriptures are from the Amplified Bible. Isn't this super duper teaching on where peace,joy and real love come from?. How to have it?

This teaching is how I come to love and appreciate my Lord and the salvation I now have.

@@merrittascott3323 Yes there are a lot of things From that part with the Blessings that are related with many teachings and sermons and Beliefs in the Church but also a lot of misinterpretation and some things that were considered "Normal" for the time 2.000 years ago but do not apply in todays life i will give one very clear example of that but also have to mention that as they say the Bible interprets itself and Thanks to The Blessing of God with the Apostle Paul a Great many things are explained from the Bible that we would otherwise not have known.The example that i want to mention is about slavery it was a condition all over the known world back then and apart from mentioning that if it is possible to be free you should try to gain your freedom,it does not condemn Slavery but suggests that you should work diligently for your Master like you would work for God.Clearly Slavery is something Everyone Condemns or should Condemn in these times,but one has to consider how things were 2 Thousand years ago,that goes to show that some Things and ways of Life that were accepted back then are a lot different now and as people and Christians mature God and His Holy Spirit gives them New Levels of Revelation of Love of Freedom and Justice.

Paul said he is a slave to Jesus Christ by choice because his love for the mercy and Grace given him. I'm not comfortable with new levels of revelation. That's New Age language. It is not easy believism of what works. The only reason i believe these things is when i find biblical backing for them. The Spirit of God has the character of pure love and pure holiness indeed, He accomplishes these two in all of us who believe. Since, "All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way" (Isaiah 53:6) kindly in the guidance of say 1Peter 3:15, what conviction is this that has you opposed to these works? It can never be personal opinion uninformed by scripture and if it is, then Isaiah 53:6 is our reminder. Still, Jesus tells the disciples at the last supper that He would not drink wine again until the day He drank it new in His Father's kingdom (Matthew 26:29). What does this mean to you?

Read the book of acts. See if being drunk in the spirit is true. It is In the bible.

James Hurst the apostles in Acts were mocked and accused of being drunk. Nowhere does it refer to them as being drunk in the Spirit. Acts 2:13 King James Version (KJV) 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. King James Version (KJV)

The Bible uses the word in referring to a woman who was praying. Drunk in the spirit. It is Biblical.

Chantel Charles Scripture makes no claim of anyone being drunk in the Spirit. When the apostles were accused of being drunk on Pentecost they were being mocked as the the Bible states. Being drunk in the Spirit is a false teaching and has no Scriptural basis
