The consultant actually listened to both of them and found them a dress at half their budget!? Impressive! The dress looked great both ways but I'm glad they found something that worked for them both.

This is the first time I saw an episode that the consultant actually pulled out a gown way below the bride’s budget 😅 They do have affordable gowns after all.

“It’s too casual” … I mean, it’s a carnival wedding. It doesn’t get much more casual than that. I’m glad the mom and bride were both happy in the end though! ❤️

The lace jacket really does make it bridal and not just a nice dress. Mum was right. She can always use the jacket for the ceremony and the belt for the party.

That consultant chose the perfect Bolero to add to that dress! It gave it wonderful character, so glad the mother loved it too after that addition.

I do not understand why people, namely mothers, cannot get behind what the bride wants. Imo, she chose it bc of her mom. Still looks pretty but let these young adults make their own decisions.

Moms it doesn’t matter if you’re paying, the bride gets what makes her feel beautiful. You can put a limit on price but you don’t get to pick the dress.

Our daughter took my husband and I dress shopping with her. We each picked one for her to try on, but the dress she chose was one SHE picked out, and that's as it should be. Fortunately, she has excellent taste, the one she chose was GORGEOUS. It was her wedding, we never could've bullied her into wearing something she didn't like.

Now all she needs is a fun little hat with a small cage veil, and it would be perfect!

I loved how Zoe was able to make both the bride and the mother happy. She looks lovely and like herself.

It's a fun carnival themed wedding for a young lady.. the dress with the added belt was absolutely beautiful ☺... imo the lace on top made her look older. She chose that to appease her mom but the I think she should've stuck with the dress and belt alone

Yes, the lace made it more bridal, but it also made it very mature for such a young lady. She did look lovely, however.

I freaking LOVE Zoe! Why was the dress 1/10th of the cost of other gowns? Is it because it is less fabric? It’s not THAT much less! Plus for the super short brides (like me) this might be a very budget friendly option that looks like a full length gown!

If the bride doesn't like lace then mum should stay silent & not push her wish when mum already been the bride.

Add the bolero for the ceremony and the belt for the reception. Two totally different looks.

The mother was overbearing BUT she had a point - the dress by itself was underwhelming and too casual for a big wedding.

I can't believe the bolero costs more than the dress. But it completes the dress.

The dress could be dyed and be practical for so many occasions.

This mother of the bride was very difficult to work with… She wasn’t listening to her daughter in anyway and or does she care about her feelings. I really felt sad for the daughter and the consultant really helped bring the situation around to where the bride was able to buy the dress she wanted which too many was very simple but she didn’t want a big fancy dress and she wanted something she was going to feel comfortable in and she looked lovely and even without the lace bolero!! Adding it on, made the mother happy but I think the bride was just as happy without it but it was a compromise and by then they were both smiling and teary-eyed and ready to go forward to the wedding. This was a lovely woman who did not compromise on what she wanted and I wish this bro the best of luck and I hope she’ll be able to stand up to her mom in the future bowls in the wedding and when she’s married❣️

Why only two dresses to try on? I didn't think the bolero went with the dress. Maybe a beautiful necklace, earrings, and something in the hair would have been better.

This "coat" made the dress look cheaper and less elegant. Yes, it was elegant because of its simplicity, now there is just too much going on. With it, the bride looks less slim as well

"She can't get married in that" seriously? I would have bought it on the spot! On an unrelated note, I feel sorry for the MOB as she obviously has a bad skin condition. My best guess is rosacea, which I also have, but mine isn't near as bad.

i never wanted to be so "stuck" in an opinion that allllll other opinions were ruled out/not an option!!! i raised my kids to --- take into consideration BUT---to do what they thought was BEST to/for them....regardless of WHAT others thought/had to say....somethin' about pleasing some of the people some of the time yaddayaddayadda-----but that's jus' me.....
