Give me some paint and I can make this super cute! 😮❤ I'd put a little jungle of plants on top of the separation wall - and she has her own lil' backyard oasis to set up with lights and a cozy table! I'm glad she saw the potential. At that price and especially, location, it's a good lil' find! 🎉
Cartess it would be fun if some of the people you have helped find places would let you do a before and after video of what the place looked like when they signed the lease and how it looks after they decorated it to personalize it to their home. Just an idea. Hi Hailey. Nice to see your beautiful face.
Now this is what I call a blessing. I can see this being a really cute place with decorations. Plus the location is perfect. I’m just happy another person has escaped. I truly hope she enjoys this fresh start ❤
Hi Cartess, I love your videos. I think I would like Merida. However, I don't think I have the patience for visa process. I also don't want to deal with hurricanes. I'm heading to Panama next year but I will keep watching you. I just subscribed and liked. Great job and the apartment has lots of potential. Blessings to you and your family.
The toilet seats don’t last very long in the heat/humidity so they are not used in public restrooms, cenotes or archeological sites, and it’s more to clean. I’m sure landlords just think the resident will provide one if they want one. She could not have picked a more convenient area to live. It will be super easy to get Uber and Rappi deliveries there.
I can't say that house fires are common. I mean, everything is made of concrete versus wooden houses in the States. I'm with you... I would think there would definitely be a lot less fires.
3:08 My guy Cartess deserves some respect he's trying to grind a video out real quick for fuck sakes. hahahaha. My aunt is a realtor and I stayed with her when I was 15-17, if she was on a call you guys better quiet tf down! haha.
I'm with her as far as not wanting to sleep on someone else's mattresses. Something like that is all I would need while I was looking for something to buy. Even when I buy I only need 2 bedrooms but I'd like to have a gated garage or carport area and a pool but I'd let go of the idea of a pool for a small patch of grass for my dogs. I'm going to insist on a washer/dryer connection and oven though. I like to cook. I saw one video where the woman said the ovens don't have heating elements on the top so nothing gets brown. She did say you can special order ovens with top elements though. Is that really an issue in Mexico? Also Is it hard to rent a place when you've got 2 dogs? One is really small, 13 pounds but the other is close to 30 pounds. Both are well behaved and housebroken but I imagine all renters say that. Mine really are though. Lol.
Wow, I really like the privacy and limited access gate. I think it's a really good deal because everything a person would need is within walking distance.
one of the best channels about Mexico rentals, i watch, i am planning on moving to mexico, not anytime soon though , but i watch to keep myself up to date on real estate market over there
Many times they stand up on the toilet they don't sit down I work at a construction site and witness it Americans were complaining that they were standing on the seat and a squat position and not putting the toilet paper in the toilet they were throwing it down on the floor because they do not flush the paper in their country in the toilet we need to understand that if we decide to relocate to other countries they are different standards for different cultures 🌄🦍❤️
That's the dumbest shit I ever heard Mexican people throw toilet paper in the trash cause of bad plumbing only if the throw it on the floor they just nasty
Nice place, like that sliding door 🚪 in the room and outdoor space. Yesterday's apartment was nice also an open concept. Both are good for the price! Great job
That little yard was a nice unexpected touch. I'd get an outdoor furniture set and basically make that my dining area. Once that hedge is shaped up that would be a nice background for vlogging/zoom calls. And the best thing for me would be all of the authentic Mexican food available every day. Hmmm... I see myself contacting you in the future so keep doing what you're doing.
hopefully in my next house ill have that private space but these jokers werent even around. But once i start talking they come down and start having side conversations 😂 😂 😂
A few things about this apartment. You can see that the landlord is too broke and or lazy to have the place clean from the start. Plus the lack of the toilet seat. Those are big red flags. 90% chance she's not going to return the deposit. Landlords that leave their properties in bad condition from the jump, are the worst to deal with if problems arise. Also the water heater on the shower head is dangerous and most of them don't work properly. I would pass.
@@tracylindsey4199Because it shows better and rents quicker. If they are going to clean anyway it makes sense to do it prior. There is a good chance you will end up cleaning it yourself.
It is the norm here for them not to tidy up the place prior to getting a contract (at least in Merida). It makes no sense to me why they won't tidy it up. It would definitely help them rent it faster and probably get more money, so i don't know why they don't do it. I've placed many people into rentals and this is the case about 95% of the time (they don't clean). But, once the contract is in, the place is SPOTLESS on move-in day (that's been the case 100% of the time). I know this for a fact and have been dealing with it for the last 2 years almost. It is what it is down here. Again, makes no darn sense to me, but that's what they do. Now, other landlords who are from places like Mexico City or Monterrey, they tend to do things differently (many wouldn't dare show a place dirty ... And, I find they wouldn't charge double deposits nor would they charge a full-month of rent for the contract fee). So, you will find the exception and it's not usually from the locals (typically from outsiders). Regardless of what anyone on the Internet says, unfortunately, this is the norm here. A lot of folks yack about not getting deposits back -- while that certainly happens, i've seen more people get their deposits back than not. Hope this helps.
