we were canoeing on eagle lake one day and i tried to push off on what i thought was a log but was a giant muskie. it really spooked me. this was back in the early seventies. two years later i caught my only musky ever it was 30 inches - and the year before canada changed the limit from 30 to 31 inches so i had to throw it back. that giant muskie was as long as my paddle 4 and a half or five feet long it was a monster. that was in iowa bay in eagle lake which was named after us four boys from iowa that stanley called his iowa outpost boys.
I'm wondering what kind of parasite? My body is starting to fail me at age 25 and I've been suspecting a parasite of some sort has been sapping the nutrients from my body.
I love your channel man.. I wonder if Aaron regrets not saving that parasite and actually catching fish with it LOL. Sounds like the beginning of a new invasive species! Welcome to Ontario! I live in the Bay of Quinte region near Belleville. Pretty crazy to think we live in the same province but over 20 hours of driving between us.
The very happiest moments of my life were spent muskie fishing with my late wife. I wish you two young lovebirds 50 years of muskie fishing and happy marriage together. Congrats, Sam for your fish.
It's a boat up to Starbucks and beer store. And thanks for making me drive 10 hours last Saturday to look at property in Kenora. You kinda screwed my weekend.
Your awesome!!! Congratulations!! My first musky was on bass tackle in a yak. What an experience. I'm glad she got her first. Love the content and videos. Keep the love flowing. As I say "keep ripping lips so fish do flips!". Looking forward to the next!
Yep I would have shot that buck too !!! Great viedo as allways!! Can u do a viedo just one ur gear rods reels line and lures IAM new to musky and Pike fishing
Call me old-fashioned, but I want to fight with the fish a lot more… I watch a lot of Muskie fishing shows, and everybody’s rushing to get it in the net. Of course, I’ve never caught a Muskie before! :-) Great finish!
I think the rush to get it to the net is also to not exhaust the fish... I'm just starting to pay a little more attention to muskie fishing also and I think next season I am going all in!
Nicely done Sam! I thought the “net man” was going to punch it there for a second, and send her of swimming.... I kid, I kid.... it was hard to tell who was more excited Sam, or Jay. The shot @5:40 with the water spooling up from the prop is really neat with the dark water contrast.
Absolutely love your videos can’t wait to watch your channel grow and grow and definitely can’t wait for some lake of the woods videos down here in Florida if your ever down HMU and we’ll put you on some monster saltwater fish
