... been there. I know the feeling Renee - you want them to gain independence but you don't easily trust folks with your kids. All my kids also went to sleep away camp in 5th and 6th grade. My kids were always one of only a few brown kids just like your kids. I didn't wanna have to hurt no body in case any strange occurances ensued so, I signed my husband up as a chaperone each time. 😅
