To be completely honest, this isn’t about ‘society’ or ‘people judging’ or ‘haters’. The fact of the matter is that tattoos are forbidden in Islam. And that’s the reason for people’s disdain and disapproval, which is completely justified. Let’s not encourage/advocate something which is clearly forbidden. If someone wants to do it, that’s completely on them and their decision and all judgement is reserved for God and not for us. But let’s not take something so easy/casual which is completely and clearly impermissible. You have been given such a big and amazing platform, which comes with it a lot of responsibility and influence. And by encouraging/praising and promoting something like this on your platform, you are ultimately responsible for any actions influenced by this podcast.

Tattooing is haram and there's no second thought to it. Although ppl might be doing a lot of haram stuff which are normalised but Shahveer bhai, tattoos will nullify your wudu which will ultimately nullify your prayers, hence you can never pray, And the only difference in a Believer and Non-Believer is Salaah(prayer) Do heed that.
Can you kindly provide some reference. I am interested in knowing more about the topic. As far as I know they are forbidden because you change the creation of Allah kind of permanently. Haven't read anything about wudu and namaz related.

The only reason I tune in is Sundas. Shahveer or his crew are not entertaining without Sundas. Also I agree with Sundas when she said that he only says that he wants a tattoo, he doesn't actually mean it. I feel he says this to appear edgy or to attract a bigger audience.
Obviously each to their own, no one should judge others for their choices whether that means getting a tattoo or not BUT we are still muslims and should acknowledge that our religion prohibits it. We shouldn't disregard our religious teachings even if we do not follow them.

I like tattoos but I don't think it is allowed in Islam cuz it is adding detail to ur skin and tattoo is a machine digging in ur skin that is y it hurts and it is permanent and it is actually Haram to change or create a detail made by ALLAH
i am disappointed in shahveer. His reason to not have a tattoo should not because ' Oh you cannot have it if your an actor'. his reason should be its HARAM and FORBIDDEN BY THE PROPHET, it is a big sin. the fact that shahveer is not against tattoos, just shows he is not close to Islam and does not agree with the Islamic principles which is really messed up.

tattoos are considered haram (forbidden) in Islam. There is no specific Islamic verse outlining this point but many people believe wudu (the purification ritual) cannot be completed if you have a tatto

I completely agree we should not judge anyone, as their actions, sins and good deeds are all held accountable by Allah and we have no right to judge. But at the same time you cannot disregard the teaching of Islam. For example, if you pray salah or not that's between you and God but to say salah is not compulsory that is completly wrong. Similarly you can't disregard the fact that tattoos or any other permanent altercation to the body are haram. Whether you follow or practice these teaching or not is a different matter. Also these things in my opinion should not be seen as an achievement because they show that you are still mentally enslaved by the western norms and concepts. Our society has it's own moral values just like the western society does and I belive to intersect values from different society is perhaps against the laws of nature therefore they will not last longer and will be rightly criticised. Also I thought Sundas was quite mature to speak up on this but she remained quite which could be a sensible thing in the given circumstances. But yeahh

Our religion does not allow us to have tattoos. Humari body Allah ki amanat hai. Aur agar hum usay hurt kerte hain tou qayamat ke din Allah ko jawab dena hoga. Aur we cannot enter jannah, with a tattoo on our body. We cannot pray namaz with a tattoo on our body.
Its really upsetting to see when muslims take such things so lightly or think its cool, transgressing the limits of Allah is not something to be proud off. Sundus seems very wise but in this regards im disappointed at her reaction as well, although she mentioned halal haraam but then said shes okay with it although us being Muslims should never approve of, or be okay with things that are displeasing to Allah. Secondly moving out of the house and living on ur own is not an achievement and we shouldnt look up to it, we shouldnt be slaves to the western concepts and unfortunately her mother trusting her to make her own decisions clearly is proven to be a wrong decision on her part. People say only Allah can judge us, but when you publicize your sins then you are allowing others to judge and we have to negate and its our duty to pin point so our other muslim fellows who may or may not know, not to be misled.
