My personal opinion is people generally know the truth of the true gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth . The one true son of God who was born in the flesh with the purpose to redeem us back to the Father through His shed blood on the cross. But, because of challenges of this world they choose to follow wrong paths for the promise of finding relief from their challenges. Example is if at your work place you may start to diligently share the gospel of repentance and accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and living your life to honor God...people will be pointing out how you yourself are not shining the light of Christ through you. They will even be qouting scripture... that's when you know how much of the word of God they know or have been exposed to... People generally know , what they do, they choose wrong paths to get things 2) They were never truly disclipled how to live for the Lord, how to seek Him for themselves...3) they have been hit by darts of the enemy to not be willing to accept God honoring ways but generally they know the truth. It is my opinion.
