Sid, I can't say I've made a million but I've been fairly successful. On your journey to the big £1m I'm going to share a tip with you that I wish I'd known a lot sooner: get into the habit of making and using checklists. Loading up the van in the morning? Use a checklist to make sure everything that should be in the van (chemicals, connectors, hoses, lances, goggles etc.) is in the van. Doing a weekly vehicle check? Make a checklist of everything that needs checking (tyre pressures, screen wash, oil level etc.) and check them off! Need to do an inventory check? Use a checklist to make sure you have stock of everything you need! By using checklists you'll save time, be more efficient, never forget anything ever again and not just save money - but make more money! Best yet you don't need any fancy software or apps to use checklists - knock them out in a word processor or spreadsheet, print them off, attach to a clipboard with pen and put them where they'll be most handy! Give it a go!
Great idea, I dont have a business but I'm very much make a list sorta person which helps me although 4 different things 😂. So checklists would be a great tool 👍 hope Sid takes it up
I totally agree, I've been in biz 28 years, at the end of every day I go thru my van and make sure I'm ready to go for the next day, Its a pain but it saves headaches down the road, its a routine.
I agree, great idea. One thing I always remember is someone saying to me “in this job, we never have time to do it once but we’ve always got time to go back and do it twice!”
I did 4 persons jobs when I was working. Only way I could do it all was to have lists. And assign things to reliable team members, which lists help with. Keeps your guys maintaining your standards.
Evening Sid, an enjoyable vid. I'm an electrician and thought I would mention to you a window cleaner who got electrocuted recently, he was using a long pole similar to your equipment next to a 33kv line that was running through a customers garden and the electricity jumped onto his pole. Hope this helps.
Yeah I’ve heard about this, lost an arm didn’t he, terrible news. We’re always extremely careful around them. It happens multiple times a year unfortunately
Glad to see another video. So happy your bucket list is getting smaller. You’ve worked so hard to achieve your success. Happy you’re getting your house. Hard work, a plan, and determination does pay off.
You should build/label a place for everything needed, that way, at a glance, you can tell whether you have everything needed in your truck without having to mentally go through an inventory each time which is very hard when you're time stressed!
I had to rewind and listen a couple of times to the "Sweet little old lady" I could have sworn you said "Swindle an old lady" first time 😂😂😂😂 I think I need new glasses!
Brilliant work as usual Sid. The colours on the patio and roof were an amazing transformation. The town house looked great as well. So glad that you came back. Nice to hear that you and your family are all well. See you again real soon.
I think I found the problem with your vans - your mechanic installed your steering wheel on the wrong side. Have to get that sorted out. Nice to see you in shorts instead of the arctic gear you normally wear. And good luck with the million goal. The way you’re humping it now I see no problems. And if you have any £’s left over I can give you some suggestions. Cheers.
The second job turned out nicely. The third, I particularly noted that you saw your work was spilling over onto the next property and set about making sure it was neat and o.k. Good work. Hope you end up with a home that suits your family well. Best wishes on locating workers that enjoy physical work and the outdoors as well as the satisfaction of always seeing an improved result when you are done.
Nice to see you, you don't need to apologise to us, you have a family and stuff needs to be worked out sometimes or staff need sorting. Glad everyone is ok. Great vid as always, we'll all be here waiting for the next one, whenever it is, no pressure - excuse the pun lol. Stay Safe Mate!
He's back! Your the reason I have started up with my external cleaning business. It's been a long time coming but this year I have just took the leap and gone for it! Glad you and the family are well, keep up the good work pal.
Sid you look like you could use a vacation. Take care of yourself Sid. Your family and your job are the most important things. We come last so please don’t run yourself to ragged. I do miss these videos, but I can watch your old ones Sid! Thank you
I just saw a story about an 8 year old boy in South Florida who started his own pressure cleaning business. Isn’t that amazing? Keep up the good work. Love your videos.
glad that you are back have missed you Sid glad that the family are all well here's hoping the new guy works out this time so you can move forward with your plans
Good to see you back, was preying there wasn't going to be no bad news, and seems like it's just business as usual for you. was thinking how nice the blocked driveway on last job looked until I noticed the sudden and quite drastic change in gradient by the stairs. Would love to see how someone like D&J Projects would go about sudden level changes (Saying this as I once told you how they mentioned you, and you replied saying they're a good lot), which reminds me, maybe to should set like goals near start of the videos, Dave and Stevies channel always get loads of likes. Looking forward to the next lot!
Good to see you back. I am happy you got yourself someone who can help you with the admin parts. I am sure that will make a lot of work a lot easier. Also this. For growing your company material wise. It could be a idea to let us sponsor you. I know that I would do so. I do have a actual idea how to work it out. It might sound odd but we have a intrest in seeing you do well. If only for the greedy benefit of the videos entertainment.
Hey mate, take a deep breath and relax just a bit. Rome wasn't built in a day, and you are on track for your lifetime goals. You do an awesome job on everything you tackle, and everything will fall into place as God provides for us all. Bless you and your family as you continue this awesome journey of life.
Hullo Sid and welcome back have missed ya. Knew you would be busy w the business glad you and fam are all well. Brill you have admin help too now. Good luck on house front aswell! Thanks for the vid. Take care keep positive 👊
Great that you're back, Sid, but don't stress yourself out about getting videos out for us. We're not the most important ones, and I'm sure we're a pretty patient bunch! You do what you need to to keep yourself, your family and your business happy and healthy, and just post whenever is convenient for you. Having said that, I'm glad to hear that you've got someone to do your admin! That's going to free up quite some time for you to concentrate on the other things. Loved today's video, with several jobs, each showing fantastic transformations, especially the Indian sandstone patio, and that last one - wow! The colours really popped on the driveway. Hope your new guy works out and that you have no more problems with the vans. £1 million business, here he comes...!
Hello Sid: Glad to hear that you and your family are all in good health. All of your jobs done in this video came up beautifully. Please get some rest!

Wondered where you were, even watching it that videos I often think that I haven’t seen such and such for a while. Glad you are back, you actually look quite well, not so stressed. Once more great work, making colours pop, thank you Sid, my prayers are that you will eventually achieve what you want. Blessings from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤👏👍🙏
You certainly get to see all kinds of homes in all kinds of neighborhoods, so I imagine choosing a home will be a breeze...and fun! Sending you lots of good house vibes!

Always put You Tube behind everything else, Family and people first then money, trust me.
Happy to see another upload! Just curious though I was looking at the JCB pressure washer you tested with Cameron 6 months back and hoped to know if you'd still consider it a good buy after all this time. Was specifically thinking of getting the smaller 3100psi/213 bar/10.7L flow rate version as a new business starter machine? Any help is crazy appreciated as I can't really find much in the way of reviews on it. Cheers!
I've been watching you since you were using your original sprayer and watching you grow is amazing. When you went and bought your first new sprayer was awesome. I've used spinner heads many times in my old job but between 1200 - 2500 psi. Daylighting pipelines and other underground services. How often do you need to replace you spinners?
What would your net profit be on £1m turnover sid? Great video btw. Thought you might have packed in 😮 great to see you back and glad you and your family are well. Keep up the good work sir 👌
Sid i thought i forget about you. But i read the comment you not around. Ohhh i tought i forget about you. Im back. Enjoying your video very much. Take care sid.
Noticed the solar panels, do you need lower pressure to clean them, or does the rain keep them clean enough? Pigeon poop would probably make them useless in my area!
Looks like you have defiantly come up in the world - I can tell by the upgrade to a gold 1980's digital watch :-) Great to see a new vid, Hope you can get a decent reliable worker. How on earth do you keep the hypo from damaging your clothes?
Love the Videos been doing pressure washing etc since 2008 but never got round to using chemicals as was never sure what or how to apply it , Out of interest what is the attachment you use to apply the chemicals , and roughly how much did you charge for the bungalow clean I would love to Know Im in norfolk and people dont seem to want to pay what I think Is right
Why is mindew/moss/mold so common there? Dont seem to be as mucha problem in the US. More lickly to get dirty then to grow stuff. Dont know anyone that cleans there roof too. More lickly to.get shingles replaced because getting old dry, rot, sun damage
Lots of shade/less sunlight to dry out the dampness is breeding grounds for moss and the like. Clay roof tiles are more common in Europe than asphalt shingles. They last longer, but need cleaned now and then.
