Also, my daughter went to the Missouri Independence mission! She left in July 2017 and got home January 2019. I’m not Mormon anymore (I left 5 years ago) but I supported her and was so proud of her making it through. Dallin and Alyssa are so cute together! I love their love story.

Fondu is my family’s favorite!! I make my own cheese sauce with equal parts Swiss and Muenster. I rub the pan with garlic first, then add white cooking wine (or Chablis blanc) that has been shaken up with flour. Once that is warmed through, then I add alternating cheese in small amounts at a time while it’s melting. I make it in a pot on the stove and then transfer it to the fondu pot to keep it warm. I make half fresh cubes of French bread and I toast half of the cubes in the broiler. I also cook and cube chicken to dip in the cheese. Plus a veggie tray- we dip broccoli, mushrooms, cauliflower, etc.

There's more to fondue than just cheese! I love chocolate fondue.

Never had fondue before but there's no harm in trying it.. i feel like if i ever meet Alex, he'll make me try new things and i think thats a good thing😁❤

When you eat fondue you can have some pickles and tomatoes with it and the best drink is if you drink wine well a nice glass of white wine or for kids like me you can have some tea with it.

Have you ever tried fondu with oil and chicken or beef. Also chocolate with anything...strawberries, marshmallows, pound cake, bananas. Yumm. We used to have fondu parties and have all 3 pots going. Fun

You got use cheddar cheese,beer, real garlic,and Worcestershire. You mix the cheese in corn starch. I learned that from going to the melting pot. The people that work told me what they use to make the cheese fondue. The melting pot is like my favorite restaurant.

Fondue in Germany is usually dipping meat into boiling fat. We have it every year either on Christmas or new years eve but I've never had cheese fondue.

If you love fondue I recommend going to a restaurant called the melting pot. There is cheese fondue, oil to cook meat in, and chocolate dessert fondue.
