Personally, I just heard about them; after these two fabulous people have already been out there in the music world for over 10 years…. I have fallen in love with their band.
Real nice of Jimmy to step in front of M Ward like that. But it was really sweet of Zooey to notice and make room to shed some light on M Ward as well.
I really like how they have the class to have all the real instruments on stage; (and the musicians, not just the instruments!) I wonder why Matt just wants to be M.
The Australian show The Heart Guy had a character sing this as part of a farewell to the main character's friend. Really touched me, so I had to look it up. Prefer Zooey's interpretation and the music video version is outstanding.
Listen...u hear....this is Beatles based music// hard not to be in rock// as they did it all, 320 songs... they started alll of this...../ but wowowowowowow LOVE ZOOEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOREVER!!!!!!
I think she does not get much respect among many musicians because she mostly does covers, I think they are wrong because she almost always improves on the original while maintaining the original spirit of the song, not easy
She's very appealing as a comic actor as well. And she's done LOTS of music. And written good songs as part of She & Him. I'm glad she's using all her many talents. She's more than pretty!
Dusty's version was way over produced. It peaked at #38 on the American Billboard charts. This is a better take. I love when they have a lot of rhythm guitar players onstage.
