This was a great reaction video! If you're interested in her music and her story, I would recommend you her song Pain is beauty. It's about the time she was bullied in school because her Japanese wasn't good. She's half Korean and lived there the first years of her life. So when she moved to Japan, she had problems because of the language and the way she looks. And when she had her debut she got a lot of hate, because she isn't as skinny as it's the beauty standard of Japan. It's really sad, but as you said she's a great role model and I think a lot of young women and teenage girls can look up to her.

She's something isn't she? I discovered her on the soundtrack of "KATE", the movie with Band-Maid. Amazing artist, and she has more intensity than many "rock" artists doesn't she?
I first encountered Chanmina through the dance performance video for this song-the dancing was really striking, but it took me awhile to absorb how good the song and her vocal performance is. I kept listening and she just has so many other songs that stay with you and she's an excellent rapper. You'd probably enjoy the MV from a year ago for this song as well. I probably like the arrangement better here, but she directed and produced the MV, and it is superb with an outro using one of her other songs, Dahlia. One of my favorite things this past year is watching unsuspecting reactors encounter the MV. I suspect you would acquit yourself well in a reaction to the material therein. If nothing else, check it out off camera.

I think you'd really enjoy Minami, her voice is incredible. All of her songs are amazing but I think Crying for Rain, Lilac and Waiting for Rain are the best first listens.
