I’m so sorry that you are having to go through this George. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009,had my thyroid removed,hot flashes multiple times a day. It’s time to get my numbers checked again.I’m sure you probably take your medicine everyday like me,but make sure they have you on the right dose. They may need to change your dose again. Praying for you!🙏🏾

I worried when George said she wasn’t taking her thyroid meds. I also take it for a very underperforming thyroid. Can NOT miss a dose. George not having a thyroid makes it much more important. Prayers.

Jeremy you might need to put a piece of wood on the lower nest box for the silkie chicken to jump up too. They are not very good at flying up to nest box. I also needed to put low perches for them to sleep on. I give my silkie girls a little hair cut so they can see as well. Just on a side not my silkies may be the smallest in my coop but they are very protective over the whole flock. They stand their ground, squawk at the magpies and crows to go away. All the regular size chicken run and hide from them. Your girls are going to have a beautiful home. Hi from Perth Western Australia 🇦🇺

My grandson just went thru a similar thing but his wb cells was low and they couldn’t find any infection . 2 days later they found it and his wb cells were back once they treated the ear infection . Yes they couldn’t locate an ear infection in 2022 …..

I use pine shavings in my coop as I’m allergic to Hay/grass seeds. I find it a lot easier to keep clean. Purchase a CAT poo scoop to keep in on a hook near nesting boxes. I just scoop out the poo, works really well. My chickens are so friendly, love them

Mom's doc put her on antibiotics for an uti. After eating mom felt really bad. She stayed at my daughter's. Olivia called me all upset. Mom wasn't responding to her n was confused. I told Olivia to call the squad, she was sounding sepsis to me. She told me that the doc told her if she would have waited any longer she would've died. It was a blessing in disguise. Mom lives by herself, if she goes shopping she doesn't answer her phone ½the time. Sorry for the length. But I'm hoping for some extra prayers

I’m a 3 time cancer survivor and I know what it’s like when your life seems as if it only consists of doctor appointments, surgeries, treatment and hospitalizations. I’m a woman of great faith and from watching your videos I can tell both you and Jeremy Love the Lord. God’s got this, He’s lifting you up an carrying you even when it seems like it’s your darkest hour. I’m a retired nurse and had Grave’s disease and had to have my thyroid radiated so I no longer have a functional thyroid glad and must take thyroid replacement like you. I take Synthroid and a pretty high dose 250mcg a day. Thyroid medication ishould be taken in the morning before any other meds there are some things that you can take it with the one thing you cannot take thyroid with is anything containing grapefruit juice or any type of multiple vitamin that contains iron. Iron interferes with the absorption of thyroid hormone replacement . One of the biggest mistakes that people make is not taking their medication consistently at the same time a day. Most endocrinologist will recommend that you have it by your bedside and that’s the first thing you do when you wake up you take your thyroid medication. I’m praying for a speedy recovery.

I used to raise chickens and they are so smart. You know they like pea gravel for there craws. It helps them digest. I ran across this video when I am in the hospital. I have flu with pneumonia with low oxygen. I know how it is in the hospital. So far I have been in for three days so far. Glad you got to go home. Love you all out there.

Yikes those trash bandits are hard to get rid of. Better google and see if you have mink in the area. I’m in SE Indiana and we battled a mink for a few days. I lost ALL of my ducks, 15 of them, in one night to a mink! I put a baby monitor in my coop, so if my babies were scared or threatened, I would hear them in the house. 😋 That’s how I got the mink. Years ago we had chickens and the solution to feeding them was to cut a tire in half (like you would do with a bagel)... and we put water in one and feed in the other.... it was durable and there was plenty of room for each one to get around it and eat/drink

You need a water trough now for the deer. That salt will dehydrate them. An old western style horse trough full of water near it would look awesome.

I just found the channel for the Florida Ranch with the guy that takes care of it. I had no idea. It's nice to see that it's being cared for! Yay!

Oh my gosh, poor George! I can so relate to what you were going through. At the beginning of April, I got really sick with what I thought was the stomach flu. I had high fevers, chills, hot flashes, on top of all of the other stomach flu symptoms, for several days until I started talking gibberish non stop, and my hubby made me go to the ER. Long story short. Somehow I'd contracted salmonella and it had developed into sepsis. After about 6 days of constant IV antibiotics, I got to come home. Still not 100% but so happy to be home! Positive vibes sent your way so you continue feeling better, as well! ❤️

I have been on thyroid medications for 22 years. I had surgery to remove it. I have no choice but to take mine with food. It's better than not taking it at all.

My oldest daughter has the same issues. Her Dr. took her off her thyroid meds for testing, and took her off for another test in 2 weeks and we almost lost her, 2 times. Please be careful Georg its very dangerous . Praying for you and het well soon ,love you and fumblenuts
