This is sweet! I like this because a lot of time shows like this end of with short-ranged dating marriages going sour and I like that this shows actual love! Like, it shows that you can love and support each other even if you date for only a short time and I rarely see that.

I love this story. I know how hard interracial relationships can be. I am Italian German and my man is Chinese. After 5 years into the relationship I wanted to take a chance and wanted to have a work and travel year in GB. I came back after a few months because we missed each other too much. Just to find her being angry, yelling at him and trying to make him chat with a girl from his hometown (in front of me as well haha, well she hoped its over). She was always nice to me before but I knew she didn't take our relationship seriously. Nobody really did, except my parents. Now another 6 years later, she is finally font of me. She realised I don't want him to change and that Italian family/ cultural values are not too different from Chinese values. But we all live in Germany and Germans are weird and treat their closest relatives like strangers so I understand a bit where she is coming from. She might have feared I want to turn him into a German cold hearted weirdo, what I have never been myself lol. So, it takes time, love and patience.
