These 2 fights 19:09 and 22:33 were the most fun combat I had than the whole solo fights compilation I did lol. It's kinda ironic fighting minor bosses with their minions is actually a lil more difficult than fighting final boss. More things that I notice is that machine type, and or humanoid type are actually harder to fight than the normal ethereal because they are more reactive to our attacks. About how I played Zhu Yuan, I played her in mostly charged attack intentionaly because using her tap attack feels inconvenient especially on solo combat. In most cases, I only used her tap attack to use the animation for dodge action, and then back on doing charged attack. It feels better to play it that way because I can properly adjust when to dodge and I can play smoother.
Yeah, those 2 fights are also my favourite from your video, i do hope they'll release a fast enemy in the game that are also big one day. Cause as of now it seems that Hoyo's vision of bosses are if they're small=fast, and if they're big=slow. Honestly, that's most game, but usually those games compensate it by making either the fast hitting small ones to be easy to stagger, and the big slow ones having feint attacks and some fast attacks too, as well as having something on the side of said boss to help them attacks that are fast, like minions. Hope they'll release an ethereals that have an actual fast attacks one day, cause that'll be dope.
Literally what I’ve been saying sense I started playing it. I didn’t even know what the game was I just seen it pop up on the Ps Store and decided to try it and I’ve been having way more fun then people are making it seem 😂. Also I normally don’t play Gacha games but the gameplay is top notch in my eyes
Because they only played 2-3 hrs of it and instantly coughed up money. You don’t need to spend a dime on this game to get anything. This game is an absolute gem 💎 and really shouldn’t be compared to Whethering Waves or Genshin. Yeah you can spend money 💰 but ultimately you don’t need too

Has the best move set, wicked playstyle. It ages so well no matter how long you use her. Makes the combat so much fun. She feels like a love letter for platinum games. Astral chain design reference + bayonetta.

@@kevinreyhan209 the most challenging one probably their time-based mode, but it cant be exactly said hard. WuWa definitely has more difficult enemies but I enjoyed ZZZ more because the super smooth and responsive combat
i think resonaboo is the best to also contribute more damage, her possible best team of zhu yuan qingyi nicole not gonna need much anomaly build up anyway
No, but i was using her team with anby and nicole. she can clear max modifiers endgame hollow zero with ease. without her signature engine as well like here in the video
@@BG-vg5jdshes using starlight here. the craftable engine and other A rank engine doesnt really fit to her kit honestly, but starlight can work pretty well in team play when she triggers reactive assist after support's ex special attack/last chain attack.
@@BG-vg5jd i guess if we go over f2p range, batlle pass engines are infact better. the attack engines there doesnt require certain action to activate the full benefit, it also has crit rate main stat so its good 👍🏻
Would it be wrong of me if i said that them putting the character's special attack gauges in the very corner of the upper left screen with a very small look for it is a bad idea? Why not just, like, put them on the bottom middle screen with bigger size so it can be visibly better.

Gunners in this game use like the same 3 attack animations for their AAs and because they happen so quickly, it feels like they only have one move and it gets real boring, real fast. This also happens with billy and grace, and to some extent with nicole too, but supports are not that important anyway... I kinda agree that her CQC playstyle is cool but most of the time, while using her gun, her damage feels so low and she moves so clunky as if she misses 90% of her shots, which results in a very discomforting gameplay loop, just like the other gunners. If they have guns, then why are they forced to fight in close range? I find it very boring when a character (compared to other damage dealers) deals moderate damage and gets you in a disadvantageous situation when the enemy starts moving out of your damage area, even though said character deals pseudo-ranged damage.
Nicole and Resonaboo will fix the grouping problem somewhat, and using more normal attacks does help increase her AA animation variety (as Roa is going for a full-on hold attack playstyle in this video).

Probably the only mode that you can't do solo is Shiyu Defense, since it's time-based mode and higher stages requires you 2 teams for it. Mostly its possible to clear them solo
i dont know too much, but it seems like theyre on par with each other. however zhu yuan doesnt even have “actual” supports (running nicole and anby) and is already performing amazingly 😭

she's an extremely cool character and the quality of work that goes into the animations is truly world class. But what I really got from this video was a ton of fun watching the bangboos do their thing during combat, i never really get to watch them properly when i'm playing :D
Pretty Viable, will be way much harder on the hollow zero with difficulty modifiers tho. When you play solo gotta rely on i-frames and dodging, you can't do parry without teammate.
ZY dmg is decrease so much if her doesn't has ammo (this the main problem of her, she need ER too spam her skill to get 3 ammo). I think compare to ellen, the dmg total is worse than ellen also the mechanic is way harder than ellen freeze stack. Also she hit focus 1 enemy. What do you think?
@@FantasyAeon her ether shots arent 1 target. they are piercing shot, if there are multiple enemies behind the one being shot, all the enemies behind will also receive damage. i do agree about her having harder way to increase stack, but shes suppose to be dealing her enhanced ether shot on stunned enemies. you can get 3 from each ex special attack, chain attack, ultimate, if you can manage properly its not that much of a problem and her damage is actually massive. however i do agree about ellen still worth more than her, ellen team is more complete and ellen's attribute is basically the best anomaly for crit based and she can deal consistent high damage wheter on stunned or non stunned enemies
Finally a ranged character who looks fun, with dynamic and mobile gameplay. Like compare this to yoimiya in genshin who just stands still when she attacks 💀
I think that's mostly because Genshin and ZZZ's a different in terms of genre. But man, i would do ANYTHING to see Yoimiya in this type of game! Imagine her playstyle like in Genshin but amped up to 11 and more fitting of the fast paced gameplay of these games (heck, i bet they'll ACTUALLY make her enhanced basic and ult be aoe if she's in this game.)

To those who have been fortunate enough to play in the betas, can you mix and match teams? or are the squads set? Like you have to use everyone from gentle house if you chose them or you have to use the cunning hares or can i have a char from each faction in one squad ?
Are they actually getting sweaty tho? It's good that Wuwa is getting popular so that hoyo actually gives good reward to genshin player. And I think that zzz is meant to be a HI/PGR/Aether gazer competitor rather than A GI/Wuwa alternatives
After playing her on demo from the story, I have to say her movement, combat animation, and CQC impact feels immaculate. She have different animation everytime she dodge attack in all direction, like strafing left and right while shooting, sweeping forward/backwards while shooting. Shit it all just feels so god damn smooth

How does she synergize with Von Lycaon and Soukaku? I like her but Ellen seems to have better synergy. But how does she fare with the ice dazer and support? I am not sure how elements trigger in this game so yeah. What happens if you change element midway? :x 😅
she doesnt have synergy with either of them, but she is excellent dps by herself. I guess you can use her with von-soukaku team if you dont have better dps, not optimal but do able. If you can't see the enemies thanks to the damage texts but you still want them in. You can turn off the background song or make it lower, so you can practice by recognising the enemy attacks and activity by the sound they do, it's a tip.
@@SharkedON Thanks but my problem is specificaly with visual polution. Turning off damage texts is the ideal solution for me unless there's an option to make them substantially smaller

@@Ray-xx8yt i think shes definitely has more learning curve, especially to utilize her movements as dodge. it is pretty hard to keep the amount of ammo, but since her kit amplify her damage on stunned state, as long as you have energy and ultimate on the time, she's really amazing dps. her personal damage output is actually higher than ellen
one the first patch u have only 2 limited characters and ur guaranteed at least one by doing quests and events and most on day one are 4 stars that are more common
@@justjuniorjaw theres more than just hold attack, such as her basic attack + movement considered as dodge action so you can use it if enemy does a consecutive attack. i might make zhu yuan guide in the future 🙏🏻

I'm kind of annoyed they're powercreeping this hard already, since I just got Lycaon and I have Soukaku at e2 already, so Ellen would be great. I'm also happy with my Nekomata team and then the only thing left would be Grace. And then they pull this. Motivation killer. At least wait 3 f-ing months.
Don't worry too much! Powercreeping doesnt have that much impact here. At least that's what I believe after beating hardest content in the game without limited character dps (in cbt)
Ellen still have bigger dmg numbers, no? I have enough pulls for Ellen but thinking about which one to pull. I am exactly same as you, Lycaon and E2 Soukaku. Ellen seems stiffer to play, more vulnerable during her flash freeze charged attacks. Zhu Yuan looks very fluid. Being able to dash dodge all over the place.
@@leotle6309 I'm in exact same situation, got Lycaon and E4 Soukaku. Game clearly telling us to get Ellen lol From what I've read, right now both are kinda close in power but Ellen performs better because her team is stronger, while Zhu Yuan's is meh. But Zhu Yuan has higher damage potential so she will be better in the future with a good team. I like both characters, and feel the same about gameplay. Ellen in the long run will probably feel annoying having to use those charge attacks all the time, doesn't go with the combat's tempo at all imo. Meanwhile Zhu Yuan feels very fluid and fun to play. So considering these things I'm deciding on Zhu Yuan personally
@@zangetsuhaThat's the good thing about Zhu Yuan. Get her, and you've completed your team because Nicole + Anby is free and is her best 1.0 team. Ellen require more gamba through Lycaon, though you can make-do with Anby at the start. Down the line, Qingyi will arrive and can replace Anby for Zhu Yuan team, but I think Zhu Yuan would get better supports later. Meanwhile, Ellen already has a competition approaching through Miyabi.
her movement isnt stiff, just need tempo to play her. in this gameplay i only use mostly her charge attack which might add to that feeling, I havent figured all of her movement by the time i made this video. when you manage to master her movements, shes definitely the best.

Keep in mind wuwa copy genshin gameplay, summon rates and everything else. Also I try to play wuwa but I fall asleep within second because how boring the story is and I also mute the sound when playing wuwa because how bad the music is

Zzz is going to get old fast if this is how the boss fights play out. Your character never misses, the bosses hardly ever dodges and has a bazillion HPs and there doesn't appear to be a combo system ??? Wuthering Waves despite all the bugs has a combat system that's in line with games like dark souls and Elden ring just a lot faster and requires some level of skill..
