I think Jennie got some part in the music industry that Jocelyn wanted, as Jocelyn wasn't doing stuff properly and wasn't present on a very important day and Jennie was being favoured and she was doing really well. And that assumably song was a big deal, when Jennie's day was about to come, the manager ig told her that she can't do it anymore, due to lack of public support or something, even though they previously said they had plenty of it. So right before her career was about to be set, her hopes were crushed and she asked "It was Jocelyn, wasn't it?" Even though Jennie had even asked for Jocelyn's permission before taking up the part and she had said yes and that she would hate if Jennie missed such a big opportunity because of her.

(Spoilers. Like...many) ... .... .... ... .. ..... Even thooooough....that's the music industry right there. The whole sex trading, playing the game...not that far fetched. Dyanne was actually naive to go to that party and warn Jocelyn. Because that was what made Jocelyn her treat Tedros like sh*t and basically kill Dyanne's carreer. Don't get me wrong, Tedros is also a crazy megalomaniac, but if any of you caught hints from ep 1 through 5...Jocelyn is an insecure and spoiled diva. She needed her mum to be there to be the villain for her all the time. With the crew, with the people working for her and all. Tedros just taught her how to be the villain on her own. She even manufactured the abuse she supposedly suffered from her mum. No wonder Xander actually kinda hated her. Her "bestie" was actually her secretary and only said shit she wanted to hear...people were scared SHITLESS of her from DAY 1 of her seeing or hearing something that she didnt like. That was a big ass red flag. An abused person, emotionally captive person? The ones that abuse her don't give a shit. Tedros was really a bit of a cult like character, but he had a talent to harness others gifts. All of those kids (including Dyanne and Jocelyn) thrived and elevated under him. None of them were really scared (just Jocelyn's friends). In the end, he was way more broken than her. Way more codependent. In more need of love. And she seemed to not give a fuck. She just wanted his talent and his ability to curate other people's talents. Because she could never do that. He's not innocent AT ALL. None of them are. Absolutely no one. Maybe the blondie that sings and plays the piano. She is so lost, man lol She just wants to be naked and make music. Other than that, everyone is guilty at some capacity. But by the end, I see how much of an evil bitch Jocelyn really is (and Nikki only BELIEVES she is. She just thinks she's all that. She's def not. Jocelyn has her by the invisible balls she believes she has.)
