Had you considered putting a blade on the line trimmer? Makes trimming long grass easier to cut in my experience. New to the channel, so sorry if you’ve addressed this question before.

Tim you have the BIGGEST heart I have ever seen. Your kindness is beyond belief! And you do a fantastic job. When you are done, it is always beautiful.
I'm in New Zealand, and have just come across your videos because my 1 and a half year old son LOVES lawnmowers! Your videos give me time to cook dinner, or clean the house and he'll sit watching happily 😊
I'm watching this in Brisbane all I'm thinking that NSW don't even help they own neighbours my neighbour ask me if I could do they yard cause his mower broke and I said yes is it just me people only think of themselves in said of each other Tim Ur blood is worth more then gold keep up this wonderful work u do im always keeping a eye out on your new videos be safe out there thanks again
Not everywhere. I’m in nsw & for the last year my neighbours have been helping me mow the bulk of my yard as I gave birth to my youngest & couldnt for 6 weeks last summer then they insisted on helping while she was so young. I have half acre too so not a small task to help with!
Tim you have such a good eye for the worst lawn in Australia. Whow this lady must be so happy as she definately enjoyed looking out her windows but now she will have a beautiful view. She is a lucky lady to have you do this makeover lawn for you. The neighbors love you too. Thank you for your dedication and hard work.
Oh my heavens, what a transformation. Just with the little bit that you did, made a huge difference. I wish she would go to the nursery to get some pretty flowers to plant in that brick planter in front of her porch after you finish. That would make the front of her house look so cute. Can't wait to see the whole thing finished. You're the man!
I agree but the house looks like housing commission. There is a high chance this lovely lady needs every dollar for everyday living and can’t afford to spend money on plants. It’s probably why she hadn’t been able to get someone to come and do the lawns for her. The house looks lovely now the lawns are done.
Just want to say thanks to you Tim. Its actually heartbreaking to see what some folk struggle with and yet heart warming to watch you come in like a Saint and help out. I hope you become wealthy from your videos and inspire the world to get out there and help a niebour and maybe make some friends. Your doing a great thing and in my opinion you should be the true Australian of the year. Ps. I love watching your lawn mowing videos, There so satisfying on so many levels. Your making the world a better place.
Hello from Germany, I just have to say it: You are one of the very few in this job who can really cut a fence freely. In other words, they are so good that they manage not to leave any piles of grass on the fence, but really cut them freely so that the gates can be opened and closed again without any problems. That is admirable!
Sorry I missed your live but I have watched it now. Thanks again for the trimmer it will be a couple months before I get to use it since we are in winter here and have 6 inches snow on ground. Great job on this lawn
So happy to see you & Nicole. And wearing masks. Not many realize what spores & mold, ARE harboring in these yards. Bless their hearts... I myself "had" a yard that looked like this. I bought a refurbished mower & sniper. Being on chemo every 4 weeks for the rest of my life, I know the perils of nasty yards & home. I pulled myself out of the poor Mr & got it done. Metastatic renal clear carcinoma cancer stage 4 is what I deal with. It went into lungs & hip. I... Still I get my work done. Lungs are crap & on oxygen. I learned to pace myself & poooof the yards look nice. I enjoy your video and take in a lot of tips. Bless you both 🙏❤️🙏🤗💪
It is so wonderful to see the home owner out there enjoying what you are doing for her. Lots of times you never know how they feel about it. Watching from Canada where we are under a deep freeze of 35/40 below Celsius, but the sun is out making it all more acceptable!. Can hardly wait for the next episode!
Tim I love your work on these lawns. I cannot believe how much grass clippings you picked up from the driveway, WOW! I love your edging very sharp. Lol love you using the shopping cart to move grass clippings. Those masks are great looking, all the guys that do lawn care should invest in a few of your face mask, maybe send to Juggernaut, Top Notch, Blade Mate, Josh’s lawn care, and Al Bladez. These are some of the guys I watch and enjoy their work. Tim you are in great company! 👍🏼🌟🌹😊
I watch all those channels as well. Wonderful thing these people are doing! It keeps me motivated and reminds me, there's still Amazing people out there. Blessings to all involved. ♥️
You have to admire grass growing over concrete. That grass was being whacked by hard plastic string rotating very, very fast but still resisted being removed. Nature is pretty tough. Who would have guessed there would be a driveway and walkway under that meadow? Great job, Tim.
I’m already dying for part 2 lol I hate waiting 🙈. Do you have a rough idea when you will finish the job &/or edit the rest of the footage? Love your videos they inspire me to really get my yard back under control. I finally used my trimmer to edge against my house in the last 2 weeks all because of your videos 😄
I had to chuckle when you hit the plate. Thought you were going to take cover and dive in to the tall grass for a second. Mishaps happen. You make it look so effortless yet knowing how tough tall grass can be, you definitely whip these yards in to shape! Love watching your videos. Its relaxing listening to the mowing and weed whackers running
The sarcastic prick in me releases a sensible chuckle. But the asshole in me thinks you're being a sexist twatwaffle. Either way, some people have issues accepting help. You don't know what path others have walked.
These videos are like a soap opera, stay tuned for the next episode, and here we all are, on the edge of our seats, waiting for the next installment. This is definitely a challenge, but the results will probably blow all of us away. Like everybody else, can't wait for part 2.
JUST WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR HELPING PEOPLE THAT COULD USE A HELPING HAND. YOU DO A REALLY GOOD JOB. MAY GOD BLESS YOU NOW AND ALWAYS FOR YOUR KINDNESS.🙏🌹🙏
Great job Tim, using rakes makes job much smoother for lawnmowers. One hint, if you have such "few days - high/thick job" you should maybe try first day do all the trimming to reduce grass, not picking it up at all, leave it over the night to remove 50% volume/moist and other day deal with much less grass. Just a hint, maybe not efficient, but worth a try.
With temperatures ranging between -10*C to -40*C here up Northeastern Ontario, Canada, it feels great to see grass and think of the warm weather that we should have in about 5 to 6 months from now ;) Great job as I can't believe you did all that work by yourself. Incredible.
Wow, that was some thick grass. I loved the unveiling of the driveway. If I could give you a suggestion...buy a tarp to put those piles of grass on so you don't have to make so many trips. It's a great time saver. I use one all the time for my lawn clean up in the spring and fall. Great work. Can't wait for the next round.
You did an amazing job so far but like you said there is still much more to do. I love your attitude and can't wait to see the next part. Keep up the good work.
Hey Tim! I was actually watching the beginning of part 2 because I looked and looked - couldn’t find part 1. I clicked down to open up the comments and there it was pinned in the comments. So here I am. I can see where you started at. You do such amazing work I can’t wait to see this yard’s transformation. There is BIG room for wowing and dazzling us. This is one of the most overgrown lawns I’ve ever seen. I didn’t hear the story behind this. Maybe I’ll find it on the way. I wonder if you realized there would be a part 3 and 4 too. Rain likes this yard. 🤗🤗🤗 ~Becka
Nice work again, Tim. You must have a really good push mower for clearing out the ugly, thick stuff. Here in the U.S. I think most would use a ZTR or a stand-on type. Can't wait for part 2 of this one.
Incredible had the homeowner had a two car driveway which you couldn't see because of the overgrown grass. What a transformation you have done, just with that small area. I hope the homeowners appreciated your hard work and are able to keep up with the maintenance ❣️
I wanted to say how much I fully enjoy your video's !!!! When I was younger and more abel I so loved getting out in my yard and garden ! But now with age and my bodies failings I get my enjoyment from watching you and others video's ! Thank you again for all you do ! Keith
I love lawn archeology! Come on smash that LIKE 👍 button, it costs you nothing but goes a long way to getting these videos out to other folks that might enjoy them 😉
Hello Tim, so it is 9,158 miles from where I am in Indiana USA... hello... and thanks for encouraging us to do our own personal yard a neat place so others can enjoy it when they pass by...
Mr. Tim, your weed eater looks very easy to hold. When my husband had a mowing business, I sometimes would help. He added the bar holder to it. It helped some much with the back and arms. Love your videos.
Wow Tim you pick a good one to mow and for free too, amazing. You are doing a fantastic job, and who would have thought a driveway was under there,WOW, WOW WOW. Thanks Tim for that enjoyable video. I'm looking forward to part two, excited 😆👍👍
I looked at next door and thought where's this houses driveway it should extend on the other side of the gates too if next doors driveway is an indication
@@timthelawnmowerman Hi Tim. The sun is out here in Wales today, done the string trimming and edging of my (not so big garden) going to put the mower on it after a coffee watching you guys, do what you do, gets us motivated (does for me for sure) 🤝 TY
