This song is about Kelly and the different things that have happened in her life. It's about Clive Davis and how he took control of what Kelly got to sing since American Idol. When Kelly won American idol, she had to sign a contract for RCA Records to be her label for 15 years. In 2017, she left RCA Records and chose Atlantic Records instead. Now she has the freedom to write and record what she has ALWAYS wanted to. The Meaning of Life album is the first album since leaving RCA. All of the songs are fantastic!! You should listen to them all. 😊

Great reaction as always. Kelly is someone I really didn't listen to back in the day, but I have started listening to her in the last year and she is amazing. She has grown so much as an artist from her early days.
