I actually came across the documentary about her a few years back and was totally in awe of her strength and determination. She's a living proof of how genuine and prosperous human's life could be with such little subsistence. So glad to see her again and God bless!
Agafia is wealthier than any of us in the modern ‘civilised’ world…this woman has everything …fresh water fresh genetic free food her animals for company…total self reliance her health…but most of all she has that thing we in the west never ever find and which no amount of money can buy….the inner peace within herself…beautiful!
Actually your comment isn’t accurate. Born and raised in Canada here. The past 8 years I have chosen minimalism and ancient eastern philosophy as my way of life. I am alone but not lonely. Solitude and a simple way of life brings me inner peace and contentment everyday. Everything I own fits in my 60L backpack. I have food, shelter, clothing, and internet. I am a modern day hermit by choice if you will! Living with very little is the best decision I have ever made in my life. Namaste.
There is almost nothing that we don't already know about Agafia, multiple visitors for reports have gone to visit her. She already knows that it is a very peculiar case, and she is allowed to do reports because she is very smart and she knows that many things necessary to live a little better are going to come to her, in addition to food, shoes and other things. Even though I see that everything repeats itself, I am happy for her since she knows how to take advantage of it and help from her that she needs so much. In addition to having a little company from time to time, she also likes telling the story of her life, a brave woman where she finds them, she has all my admiration for surviving in such harsh conditions. All of you who go should take her much more warm things and everything, since you benefit financially from her documentaries.

I have seen her videos years ago, so happy to find out she is still doing well, volunteers built a house for her a few years back I wonder if she still has the house. At 80 she is self sufficient, it reminds me of an 80 year old woman about ten years ago called an ambulance because she had a splinter on her finger and couldn't get it out, and look at Agafia. This brave and happy lady will live to be a 100 may God protect and keep her safe.
I think something happened to the house. The last time I heard about it, she wasn't living in it. Something to do that she's not used to it. Or didn't feel comfortable in it.
That goes to show how content with so little and simple she is. We in the west should ponder on our lives, especially those who always complain and want more.
I'm actually embarrassed to see this humble little lady with her faith and beautiful companions the cats this makes me appreciate my life so much more God bless her❤

I don't claim to have this sort of stamina. She is incredibly fit at 80! I did live off grid in the Rockies for 15 years. There is a lot of daily work involved to ensure survival. This woman has no transportation or modern appliances, no running water, and apparently no well. This is what she knows. I think that her faith protects and sustains her.
You just keep going daily. In the winter, she has fresh snow she can melt for water. Thus, she must chop wood and prepare months before to survive the winter. It is a constant routine to survive.
Yeah,because I've noticed how so many people who live in such conditions, having to work all the time, become bitter. And that bitterness transforms usually in aggression towards animals or other people. But not Agafia! She's still gentle with the animals after all these years of hardships
I watched a documentary about this lady a few years ago and she impressed me so much, I admired her strength and courage, she is an inspiration! May God continue to bless her and keep her safe. 🙏

She reminds me of my aunt she died at age 94 in a small town in the state of Michoacán in Mexico never married did not have kids and had an old kitchen. She had chickens, goats and always ate simple, loved simple. I don’t think my aunt went anywhere near tourist places. She mainly stayed in the hottest regions of Michoacán in the mountains of Jalisco she was originally born there. She was a devout catholic all her life always prayed like this woman. She also survived the Great War - she was born in 1910. My great grandfather took famine to hide in the mountains bc Christians were being killed around that time. Thank you for posting this even though my family are not Russian - this woman remind me of my aunt 🙏🏼✝️
An amazing woman! Living alone in such a harsh environment is absolutely impressive! Then at the age of 80!! We do not realize how difficult her life is, especially in winter! Happily with the beautiful season she can survive more "peacefully". I have a great admiration for her. She is a great woman. Nothing is so blessed in seeing how little we truly need to live. She is successfully thriving in the absence of modern needs. Watching her make bread was so enlightening and impressive.

my grandpa is 85 he doesnt suffer from cataracts, might just be something people get for different reasons. Just keeping the eyes clean helps avoid it, and making sure your tearing properly.
I came across one documentary about a man called Samuel also staying alone in the Siberian forest. Indeed, I was very sad thinking of him till I saw that people send him a lot of help before I could stop thinking about him. I pray to the mighty God to send those same angles to help our dearest mum, because she needs more help than Samuel alone! I think Samuel was about 50 or 55 years. But our poor mum is 80 years, so she definitely could use the help a lot more. Oh my gosh please safe this poor mum.🙏🏾

I am from a very far place and only heard of Siberia because of northeast wind coming from Siberia that gave us a cool weather. This woman is amazing.. I'm only a few minutes in and I'm watching her chop down this tree and all I can think of it is the fact that I tore muscle closing my car door. I'm less than half her age. In my defense my body was extremely weak from chemotherapy and radiation but still. .. she is just amazing

I bet she never had a poisonous vaccination, let alone poisoned water, highly poisoned air, poisoned chemotherapy (mustard gas), high radiation, LED lights, on and on. And, out of necessity, she's active, but not stressed. Her faith also helps.

We go to nursing homes and drive electrical wheel chairs at 80, she builds cabins in the woods fishes takes care of goats and chickens makes her own butter bread and prays studies and sings to God in 60 below….and we can’t even get out of bed.

I cant believe she is 80. Her skin, strength and endurance amazes me. I'm half her age and I can barely walk 2 km, suffer from a number of health issues.
Bless her. So glad she has her cats to snuggle with at night, and them her. I lived alone during the pandemic because of my work in healthcare, and the only thing that kept me comforted was coming home to my cats to snuggle. I feel a kinship with Agafia.
Wow impressive woman!!!! I do hope that her kitties and goats are taken to a home when she leaves this world. I have four kitties myself and my daughter knows to take them when I am gone. She is a testament to perseverance in a harsh life. Prayers for strength and good health for her!

People who choose to live like this are blessed! They have time! A commodity lost in the civilised world centuries ago!! They have Peace! They’re close to Nature! It’s almost magic! They’ve got freedom of choice to organise their lives day by day as it pleases them. Beautiful example of a simple and peaceful life!!

We fast 4 times a year, Christmas fast for 6 weeks, Easter fast for 7 weeks, Apostolic fast, the duration depends on the date of Easter and the Virgin Mary fast for two weeks. We also fast on Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday is the day when the Lord was betrayed, and Friday is in memory of His crucifixion. Christ is risen.
