This Fine Lady sold over 50 MILLION albums with songs like these.... "Smooth Operator"...."The Sweetest Taboo"...."No Ordinary Love"...."Your Love Is King"
I'll never forget the first time I heard her voice coming out of my Bose 901s!🎶💫 Her slightly sharp, soft but lilting delivery on "Smooth Operator" just floored me.👏
Live Aid was amazing. 1.5 to 2 BILLION people watched it when it happened. And there was probably around 5 billion people in the world at that time. 2 cities-one in England & one in the US, televised live. You should see it, legendary people.
"Sade" are an English band, formed in London in 1982 and named after their lead singer, Sade Adu. Three members, Paul Anthony Cooke, Stuart Mathewman, and Paul Spencer Denman, were originally from Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Its music features elements of soul, quiet storm, smooth jazz and sophisti-pop..... Yes, "Mesmerizing"
Another style/genre for you, JM. Sade made some beautiful and popular songs. I sold a lot of her CDs back in the day. Glad you enjoyed it and felt the instant joy and amazement she delivers.
First of all she is so Beautiful ! Talk about a catalog to choose from it'll take a couple years to go through her music ! I have every album she ever put out , Between her saxophone player and Tina Turner's and Supertramp's , They got the top 3 saxophone players out there ! She's amazing live , She did a live concert in San Diego that was filmed , It was either in 2006 or 2008 ? Definitely worth taking a look at on your own time ! Obviously there's a 20 year gap between this and the San Diego concert , So her and her band are much more advanced !
A Muse for the Ages. In mythology, the Muses were nine goddesses who symbolized the arts and sciences. Today, a muse is a person who serves as an artist's inspiration.
I strongly suggest you listen to her songs "Pearls" and "Nothing can come between us". The first will touch your soul. The latter is upbeat smooth masterpiece. Those are just two of her stunning sound and catalog.
"SHE IS AMAZING"....SLAP YOU UP SIDE YOUR HEAD....Didn't she... I knew this Lady would capture your attention. I love her, and this song. Hit the Drum Kit. Another incredibly talented name in your Playlist.... Thanks again 151
No less talented her band I don’t know if it’s always been the same people with her, but they absolutely nailed every performance and stay right with her the whole time
My favorite musical artist of all-time. She is truly one of a kind and the world, mine at least, is a much better place because of her. Seeing her live is truly a memorable experience.
One of the most beautiful women ever in music. With a voice that's ultra sexy but somehow innocent and more than enough power to knock you right off your feet. Good reaction. Try No ordinary love next.
Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Sade would welcome the "Queen Of Disco" on stage with them... Donna Summer - MacArthur Park (from VH1 Presents Live & More Encore!)
How many guys in that audience wished she was singing that song to them, and they go home with a woman like that? Silence during the song, massive cheers when over. TOO COOL
I was just in front of the mixing tent with my wife (then girlfriend) on my shoulders as she is a big Sade fan. I, for one, was perfectly happy but I know what you mean. The performance was flawless.
The first "Heavy Metal" band that set the table for all that followed, Front Man "OZZY" Osborne scared the HELL out of many god fearing people back then. The word Legends is no where near adequate for this band.... Black Sabbath - "Iron Man"... then do "Paranoid"... "The Wizard".... "War Pigs"
You know how funny Bob Dylan can be when telling a story... "Hilarious",,, here's another one of those.... Talkin' Bear Mountain Picnic Massacre Blues (Studio Outtake - 1962 - Official Audio)
"Is It A Crime" This may come, this may come as some surprise But I miss you I could see through all of your lies But still I miss you He takes her love, but it doesn't feel like mine He tastes her kiss, her kisses are not wine, they're not mine He takes, but surely she can't give what I'm feeling now She takes, but surely she doesn't know how Is it a crime? Is it a crime That I still want you? And I want you to want me too My love is wider, wider than Victoria Lake My love is taller, taller than the Empire State It dives, it jumps, and it ripples like the deepest ocean I can't give you more than that, surely, you want me back Is it a crime? Is it a crime That I still want you? And I want you to want me too, mmm-mmm My love is wider than Victoria Lake Taller than the Empire State It dives, it jumps I can't give you more than that, surely, you want me back Is it a crime? Is it a crime That I still want you? And I want you to want me too, mmm-mmm It dives, it jumps, and it ripples like the deepest ocean I can't give you more than that, surely, you want it back Tell me, is it a crime?
The album "Jagged Little Pill".. the song that took over MTV and made her a new icon in rock history..... Alanis Morissette - Ironic (Official 4K Music Video)
