I studied with irene in the same high school.she was a quiet and kind girl.she came from a privileged family but you could not tell it.she is kindhearted and friendly.i remember the dad was very good with her classmates and really caring.i pray for their health and peace that surpasses all human understanding.

We need to file a missing person case in that State and get a Lawyer involved!

The family should reach out to American true crime youtubers like kimberlyleigh, Stephanie Harlowe, Kendall Rea**, Mike from That Chapter, Southern girl crime, leya nicole. These people would be at a better position to raise awareness of the case. Unfortunately I don't think Irene Gakwa is missing she was probably unalivened. Or the worst case scenario due to her petite frame was sold in to a human trafficking ring by her boyfriend. But I don't think this case will have a happy ending. 🤔 Also Lynn I don't like the title of this video, she has a name, putting the idea of how she met her bf on the title makes it look like you are blaming the victim her for what befell her. Not using her names makes it look like it's more important to know how she met her misfortune than who she was. A better title would have been : Where is Irene Gakwa? Missing in Gillette, Wyoming. Thus title gives the victim a name and also gives more information about where she went missing. People browsing RU-vid from Wyoming are more likely to watch the video because they know wyoming and would be more likely to watch thus video. People who are in the usa would be more likely to watch the video because RU-vid would recommend the video to more Americans. Us Kenyans who are in Kenya can't help locate Irene but people in the USA can, so your target audience for this video should be Americans and not us Kenyans. Secondly if you truly want to help this family try reach out to the above true crime youtubers and collaborate with them together with the family. The first one you should reach out to is Kendall Rae at the moment she is on maternity leave but she can really be of help. And she is located in Colarado which is I guess near Wyoming.

Hi Lynn and Team, Thanks for featuring Irene's story. My deepest sympathy to Irene's family. I truly hope it all ends well. I just wanted to say, sadly, out of my own experience that I did all the things he is struggling to figure out. I walked out with just a handbag and some documents. I'd packed a black bin paper bag full of clothes but decided it would slow me down so I left it. In order to escape from a dangerous situation there is no time to pack a big suitcase because it'd be also obvious that you're planning to leave. I left my phone behind because my ex was incredibly good with computers and would track me down easily. I left all credit/debit cards because once you swipe your card then your location can also easily be traced. At that moment, all one thinks about is how to save yourself. I'd saved some cash so I could get on a train and God put an angel (a man at the bus stop) who called a taxi company and ordered a taxi for me. I needed to get away from that vicinity fast, incase he realised I'd left and came after me. I escaped my abusive, very controlling, toxic ex-husband and maintain no contact to date. Abusers will do anything to lure one back so that the abuse cycle continues. Irene may possibly have been lured by a sob story presented then, or he may simply have threatened her and so out of fear she returned. Having met online is of no consequence. Narcissistic and psychotic people are everywhere. Nathan's family history is disturbing but its reflects much on his behaviour. My ex also listened in on my phone conversations and those in Swahili he had an app installed on his computer for translation. So I can understand her dilemma, he may have demanded that she write only in English incase she sought help in Swahili, that he couldn't risk! I hope she will be found alive but he clearly has a lot do with her disappearance. As for the false accusation, I too was threatened with imprisonment. If one proves to be a challenge to the abuser this is also a way of "discarding" you at the same time saving his own perceived "good image" portrayed to the outside world. He accused her of stealing so that if that was successful she would be put away in prison because narcissists don't like to lose. And so that way he would be able to present himself to the world as 'the angel' hiding safely behind 'the woman who stole his money!' Whereas, its clear as light of day he is the thief. He took money from her credit cards. Deflection, threats and projection are the most favourite of abusers tools of trade. All said, I wish Irene's family well, health and divine protection.

I don't know what to say, A close friend of mine disappeared in Texas two years ago but up to now nothing has ever happened.There was overwhelming evidence that he was murdered by wife ( white) . There was traces of blood in their apartment .Up to know we have never found the body. She got the guts to tell us that at one point this guy was deported to kenya and went after him. The state of Texas is not helpful to solve this case.,The attorneys are advising us to involve a private investigator which is really expensive. I'm praying for the family..
