I started playing volleyball one year ago. At tryouts there were girls who’d been playing since they were 7. Yesterday I found out I made the 7th grade A Team. Never give up❤
Yes you go am trying out for volleyball am I’m 7th and most of these girls are good but hopefully I make it am trash I never played but I learned for trying out from Cheer which I never did even if you suck just Try cause you never now
I'm in 7th, always been used to basketball. I wanna try out other sports too as my school won't be having a gorls bball next year; they're replacing it with softball. So this year, while I'm trying to get stronger I also want to tryout for volleyball. All the girls have at least one hear of exp from 6th grade, so I'm indecisive. But if I just believe in myself like I did with basketball then I think I can do it. Tryouts are in December and it's Sept atm! My first bball game is this Thurs and I'm kinda nervous about that too
To say the least....if my school would've done spring volleyball I would've graduated. It was my life and light. I had no friends. Just my ball. I was a senior playing with a team of 7th graders due to nobody wanting to play. All my friends graduated the year before me. I was alone and sad. I regret not going somewhere I was told by all coaches and refs I was good enough to go somewhere. GOOD FOR YOU FOR DOING IT!!!! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR VOLLEYBALL CAREER🙌🙌💯💯
I started in middle school aswell (middle of 6th grade) didn’t make the middle school team in 7th or 8th grade. Wasn’t able to try out for club for a number of reasons. In 8th grade I started going to open gyms to get ready for HS tryouts mid July I have HS try outs and 87 people are trying out for only 24 spots (12jv 12varsity) the first two days there were no cuts but the night before day three of tryouts I got the call that I had been cut and wasn’t gonna be on the team. I was crushed. About a week later I looked at the list of the girls that made the team and I got pretty frustrated because there were girls in 7th and 8th grade that made the team and I got upset cause I so badly wanted to be on the team and to think that girls that could’ve played middle school took a spot on a team that I could’ve potentially made crushed me. I am about to start an academy to just get better and I started a workout class to get into peak condition. In a few months I am determined to make club 🏐🫶 Moral of the story: don’t give up, I know that I’m not going to
That’s my dream, I’m going into 8th grade in a week and I started playing last school year, I did my school team, winter ball, spring, and summer, I made the jv team today and I’m so excited to keep progressing!!!!
this is such an inspiration to me. I am in middle school and there are mean girls who are better at volleyball than me and they make sure I know it. This inspired me to prove to them that I can rise above and become as good as them if not better. Thank you
Dang mean girls? They must be insecure then 😂 I'm a tomboy and they called me les. It's not good to pay attention to useless comments made by some useless girls who have no life whatsoever ☠️
Don’t play to prove them wrong. Play to prove to yourself that they are wrong. When you step on that court, you aren’t playing for others, you’re playing for yourself. Doesn’t matter what others say.
i feel like i needed this bc i wanted to do volleyball this year and last year but the other players are so mean and i’m bad 😂 but maybe i’ll join next year ❤
in august, i made my school team. it was the first time i played actual volleyball. i wasn’t bad, but my coach had something against me. she didn’t believe in me. i lost all of by confidence the last 3 months. i’ve spent october practicing 4 hours a day to make a club team this weekend. i have tryouts tonight for a team that showed me im better then she could ever teach me to be. im so nervous, but this is the start of something huge. you can do anything, just find the confidence to try.

This gave me inspiration to never give up on the sport I love and admire it’s cheer I tried out for my middle school team and didn’t make it and am gonna try again next year and hopefully I make it and I will have improved cause am practicing everyday and I’ll keep trying out till I make it 🤞🏼
Omg I follow the same story: my first year EVER playing volleyball was 7th grade, and I don't think I'm terrible but I wish I could be better. Now I'm in eighth grade and I'm feeling more confident about the upcoming season!

It’s not about playing the game for other people to see. You play the game to prove to yourself that you can do it and that you will do it. Don’t give up. Keep your eye on the ball. Don’t focus on anyone but yourself and your team. You and your team are the only ones who matter
I miss volleyball so much. I have wanted to play for so many years. Literally in tears right now because I love this sport so much and I stepped away from it. I want it back badly.

This is my dream. I started playing in middle school too. But I can’t join any club teams because they are too expensive so all I do in the summer is a 2 week camp through community Ed. I made the 9th grade B team for freshman year of high school. Hopefully next year I can make the B squad which is mostly made up of sophomores Any advice?
Didn’t find volleyball until 8th grade. My high school team has never played before either. The closest club teams want over 5000$ to start playing and cheaper clubs are over 2 hours away from where we live. I joined a very very small club team in 10th grade when covid his so we only had 3 tournaments and got obliterated every time. The coach got fired and now it’s my senior season in high school and the only training I get is training by myself. My entire goal from the start of volleyball was to play in college and I’ve never felt so hopeless. Dreams really don’t come true.
This is actually so inspiring! I am a 12 year old and I have been playing volleyball since I was 4. I have gotten so much better (in my opinion). But I still have a long way to go to get in to varsity volleyball. My hope is to get in to varsity when I am a freshman in high school. (I am only a 7th grader.) but by seeing this video I can tell that with hard work and dedication I will be able to get in. ❤❤❤❤
This my dream I’m 11 and I’ve been grinding all day every day whenever I’m not doing homework it’s usually volleyball volleyball volleyball and my dream is to be a setter for Stanford right now I’m grinding to get into a top 12’s team at my club I don’t care how long it takes or how much work it is I’m not giving up

I tried out in 8th grade, didn’t get in because of bias coaches. Planned on trying out 9th grade, emergency family trip to India. I had given up on volleyball completely and cried every time I saw a net. My best friend made me not lose hope. I’m still debating it. I’ve never went to a club and never will. I learned on my own. I’m severed disadvantaged. There’s at least 20 other girls who did several clubs that are for sure going to try out again.
I had friends who had been playing since the 6th grade get cut their senior year. Volleyball was all politics at my high school. I joined an all adult women’s club just to play for fun when I was like 25 and was bullied off the team. My own teammate actually shoved me to the ground to get the ball and I ended up injuring my wrist. I used to love the sport but not much anymore

When i was 10 i started playing volleyball and loved it SO SO MUCH I cried for hours when my dad said I couldn’t do it forever and I still play volleyball and it will always be in my heart
I’ve been really enjoying volleyball recently I’ve always hated it but I was just being a wimp it’s really fun when you have a supportive team because you can actively watch yourself become better
