What you just saw was Dalia Dippolito (Dee-puh-lee-doh) crying over her husband’s death, something that was found not true. Everything you see here, from her immediate outburst of sorrow to the officer reporting…It’s all done to uncover the actual plot. In this video, we’re taking you through the crazy case of Dalia and how a successful sting operation prevented a terrible fate for her husband.
In 2008, Dalia Dippolito was in real estate and had a side hustle as an escort when she met her husband, Michael Dippolito. Michael had a sheet on him for fraud but was very successful. But somewhere along the line, their marriage fell apart, and it was evident that she was using his criminal history to get whatever she wants from him. One time, the police were tipped by an anonymous caller about Michael’s involvement in narcotics. He worried about losing his assets if arrested, so he signed off his assets to Dalia. Later, it was uncovered that that anonymous caller was Dalia.

This video misses out the craziest part of the story. She called her husband on the phone after being arrested and tried to convince him she was innocent. When he told her he had seen the video of her planning the hit, she tried to convince him not to "believe" what he had seen with his own eyes. That takes gaslighting to a whole new level.

Women without a conscience are truly cold hearted and evil as you put it. I've known some women like that and her husband should have seen the red flags, but couldn't bring himself to think what he was seeing. Yet you heard him keep saying weird shit kept happening. He dodged a bullet with the drugs in the gas cap, but he must have been madly in love, suffering from severe cognitive dissonance or exceedingly dimwitted. I deem him the middle option, but she was just evil. Lack of a conscience _IS_ evil and to pay money to kill someone to get more money demonstrates that. I do not know which word is the better descriptor, sociopath or psychopath.

I get unreasonably nervous on a traffic stop (only 3 times in my life) and cops always get suspicious with the way I act. If I was ever interrogated for anything, I would probably become #1 suspect just because of my nature. I'm pretty certain I will never intentionally commit any crime, yet just the fear of accusation could ruin my life. I think in most cases, courts require some sort of hard evidence, so that's why I consider it a phobia rather than a genuine fear.

This. No matter how "real" her initial acting might seem, it's a very difficult thing to keep up. Just knowing you're being filmed will break most acting in such an high pressure situation, because you become too aware of yourself and others and that shows. Not only did she change gears from desperate and emotional to fully rational storyteller, she was also too quick to blame others and tried too hard to establish a connection with the officer/investigator.
