She Painted EVERYTHING in this Extreme Budget Bathroom Makeover 

That paintbrush tip blew my mind... the bathroom looks SO GOOD. I’m shocked at how well the paint worked in that shower!

When i purchased my first home i used the tub&tile paint kit for the tub. Its been 7yrs now and I have not had any issues with the paint. It still looks bright white and brand new..👍 However i know ppl that have had theirs peel over time. I think that has a lot to do with how you prep& clean the surface before painting..

Nice video. Great ideas. I'm 73 and decided that my ugly basement bathroom needed a make over. Some guys came to give me "estimates". What they say is true, if you are old, scammer will come out of the woodwork. The first two (decided not to waste more time), both wanted to redo my MAIN bathroom instead (which is just fine, and has a beautiful Art Deco window, which they both wanted to remove). One said $18,000 dollars (for a small bathroom) went down to $12,000, after I started LAUGHING. The second wanted $10,000 to put in PLASTIC (oops, sorry, vinyl) walls. I decided to buy a new sink and have a plumber install it, in the BASEMENT. I can do the shower enclosure (thanks for the tips), the toilet is fine. I learned to tile years ago and my dad had me as his painting assistant from the time I was 8. He had this crazy compulsion of re-painting our house every year (did not trust my brother) and he demanded perfection. I had to learn FAST. LOL

I loved the retro pink! That is so back in style. My grandparents bought a new build in L.A. back in 1963 with a pink bathroom like that and it was so cool.

I agree with your decision to add a colorful shower curtain and do a white wall with a few elements that pop. The simplicity is visually interesting. It makes the bathroom look bigger and makes it feel calming and relaxing.

One suggestion you should spray paint the duct/register cover (on the floor), black or white to blend with tile. It would look clean and cohesive.
