Yesssss, its a HUGE problem that people think women can't be threats. I remember at my old school, there was this elderly, female janitor who would always "need" to clean something while I was in the restroom brushing my hair, washing my face, whatever. But when I looked she wouldn't actually be doing anything. She always made very weird comments towards me, one time she told me "theres some eye candy here", when it was only her and i in the restroom. I would catch her staring at me while i was playing at recess, when im sure she was supposed to be working. Told my friends and they didn't believe me. I told this one yard duty and they brushed it off and changed the subject. If it were a man janitor im sure someone would have done something about it. Sad.
